Day 1: Hanoi – Dubai – Riyadh
20:30: Car and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point to Noi Bai airport, check in for flight EK 395 at 00:25 to Dubai, flight length 07:40.
05:05: Arrive at Dubai airport, you continue to catch flight EK819 to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's capital. Transit time 01h55, flight time 02h.
Day 2: Riyadh (Lunch/Dinner)
07:00: Arrive in Riyadh - you complete immigration procedures, then visit:
- Capital Riyadh : Is the capital and at the same time the most developed city of Saudi Arabia. Admire the shady date palm trees on the romantic Wadi Hanifah river.
- National Museum : One of the museums with the most beautiful architecture in the Middle East. This place preserves many treasures that demonstrate the glorious history of the Arab country and people.
- Al Masmak Fort : Built in 1865, with a unique but very solid structure made of mud bricks, the fortress is an important testament in the war to unify Saudi Arabia with the battle of Riyadh.
Noon: Have lunch at the restaurant, then continue to visit:
- At Turaif Old Town: Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2010, this is the original old capital of Saudi Arabia, where the royal family used to stay before building the modern Riyadh it is today. You can visit architectural works and houses, as well as the remaining royal palace.
- You can also visit Souq Al Zel market - the oldest traditional market in Saudi Arabia with an area of over 38,000 square meters with many items sold here such as woven carpets, gold, spices, handicrafts, essential oils...
Evening: Have dinner, check in and rest at the hotel.
Day 3: Riyadh (Breakfast/lunch/dinner)
Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel:
- Off-road experience to “Edge of the World” : A breathtaking geological wonder with a soaring view of the endless landscape below, feeling like heaven and earth merge together on the road endless horizon.
Noon: Return to Riyadh for lunch and sightseeing:
- Al Rajhi Mosque: Completed in 2004, this is the largest mosque in Riyadh as well as the largest in the Arab region with more than 13,000 square meters. The typical dome and minaret architecture alongside the splendid design will give you a different look compared to other mosques.
- King Abdullah Financial District: Known as the urban area in the heart of the city with super modern buildings and architecture, it will show you the most clearly the development of this richest country in the Arab region.
Evening: You have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Riyadh – Al Ula (Breakfast/lunch/dinner)
Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel then go to the airport to catch the flight to Al Ula at 10:25. Lunch at the restaurant.
Afternoon: You visit:
- Al Ula: Desert oasis city close to the holy city of Medina, located on the ancient spice trade route that brought pilgrims from Damascus to Mecca, this area has long been considered a precious gem in Archaeological history of Saudi Arabia.
- Maraya Mirror Building: With nearly 10,000 square meters of mirror surface, this is also known as the "Invisible Building". The surrounding landscape is reflected through mirrors, making Maraya seem to disappear into the desert. If you are not really sharp-eyed, you will have a hard time detecting this project.
- Elephant Rock: Is a 52 meter high rock structure. It has a very large gap in the middle, making the whole rock seem to be separated into two parts. Part of the back resembles the elephant's trunk, while the other part resembles the face and large trunk. The details of the rock look like they were meticulously hand-carved, but in reality, the credit for this delicate masterpiece goes to nature.
Then you move to the hotel to check in, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5: Al Ula (Breakfast/lunch/dinner)
Morning: Your group has breakfast at the hotel. Then move to Madain Saleh - located on an important trade route connecting southern Arabia with Iraq, Syria, Egypt and Jordan. This place was also recognized as a World Heritage Site in 2008 with 130 tombs carved with rudimentary tools into giant sandstone rocks, somewhat similar to Jordan's Petra architecture. Sightseeing:
- Lihyan Tomb: Also known as the Tomb of Solitude, was completed around the 1st century AD and is the symbol of Madain Saleh.
- Al Hijr North Gate: The area with the highest concentration of tombs (111). There are scattered dates from the 2nd century BC to the 2nd century AD.
- Al-Faqi Fort: Dating back to the 18th century, it has a square shape and a round tower, three of which are still standing while the south tower has been completely destroyed.
- Jabal AlAhmar: Area with new tombs under excavation.
- Jabal Al Banat: One of the largest clusters of tombs in Hegra with 29 tombs with facades skillfully carved on all sides of the sandstone.
- "Face - Rock": A strange tomb with an external appearance very similar to a human face looking in profile.
- Al-Sanea Tomb: One of the first tombs to be carved here, with steps decorated with unique crow shapes and many banners in the niches where the bodies are placed.
You have lunch then visit:
- Tayma Oasis - a place with a strange geological area that has troubled the scientific community for many years with the highlight being Al Naslaa - the Divided Rock, which is a giant rock placed on a small pedestal with a dividing line. The perfect pair looks like it was cut with a powerful laser beam.
Evening: You have dinner at the restaurant and rest at the hotel.
Day 6: Al Ula - Madinah (Breakfast/lunch/dinner)
Morning: Your group has breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to Madina (350km ~ 4 hours of travel) - the holy city where the prophet Muhammad is buried, second in importance only to Mecca. Lunch at the restaurant, then visit:
- Uhud Hill: Place of the famous battle led by Prophet Muhammad against the army of Mecca. You can visit the Mosque where the Prophet's companions are commemorated.
- Quba Mosque: Considered the first Mosque in the world, completed in the 7th century when Islam was born. It is a particularly sacred place for pilgrims.
- Prophet's Mosque: Built by the Prophet Muhammad, it is the third mosque to appear in Islamic history, and is also one of the largest mosques in the world.
After dinner, you return to the hotel to rest.
Day 7: Madinah - Jeddah (Breakfast/lunch/dinner)
Morning: Quarter Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel, then travel to Jeddah (420km - 4 hours 20 minutes) - the second largest city of Saudi Arabia and the gateway to the two holy cities of Mecca and Madinah. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Sightseeing:
- Al Alawi Old Town: Bustling old town with houses and shops with typical architecture on both sides of the street. You can also visit Al Alawi ancient market to shop for yourself and your family with specialties and local souvenirs.
- King Fahd Fountain: Named after King Fahd - the king who donated this fountain to the city. The special thing about the station is that the water spray speed can reach 375 km/h and its air volume can exceed 16 tons. The station also uses salt water from the Red Sea instead of fresh water. There are more than 500 lights that illuminate the fountain at night.
After dinner, you return to the hotel to rest.
Day 8: Jeddah - Dubai (Breakfast/lunch/dinner)
Morning: You have breakfast at the hotel, then visit:
- Abdul Rauf Khalil Museum: Is the most complete museum of the pre-Islamic and Islamic periods. Including artifacts in the Ottoman Empire collection.
Noon: You have lunch at the restaurant.
- Then the group moved to the beautiful Jeddah Corniche beach, visiting the Floating Mosque: A mosque built on the beach. Take a walk and see the beautiful seaside city of Jeddah.
Afternoon: Car and tour guide take the group to the airport to catch a flight to Dubai, transit at Dubai airport then continue to catch flight EK394 at 03:40 a.m. to Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi
12.40: The group arrives in Hanoi, the car takes the group back to the original meeting point. Goodbye and thank you, see you again on future trips.
