What to expect

Morning: Scenic Views, Tranquility & Royal Heritage
+ Start your day with fresh mountain air at Robin Hill and the Dalat Cable Car Station, offering a panoramic view over the charming city of Dalat and the pine-covered valley stretching southward. Optional: Take the cable car ride descending 300 meters, where you’ll glide above vibrant flower and vegetable farms nestled within the forested landscape.
+ Arrive at Tuyen Lam Lake, a serene gem embraced by pine trees. Here, visit the peaceful Truc Lam Zen Monastery—the largest Zen Buddhist institution in Vietnam—perched atop Phoenix Hill and surrounded by a beautifully landscaped flower garden. Please wear modest attire to maintain the sacred atmosphere.
+ Continue south to the stunning Datanla Waterfall, where you can choose to access the site via an exciting roller coaster ride through the woods.
+ On your return to the city center, explore the Bao Dai Summer Palace, once the retreat of Vietnam’s last emperor. Walk through the imperial residence to gain insights into the royal lifestyle and decor of the era.
Lunch: Enjoy a meal at a local restaurant en route (your guide can recommend a popular, well-rated venue).

Afternoon: Flowers, Art, and Culture
+ After lunch, visit the Dalat Flower Garden (established in 1966), often dubbed the "kingdom of flowers." Admire a vibrant collection of both native and international blooms such as orchids, hydrangeas, azaleas, and birds of paradise. Wander through bonsai gardens, stroll beside the lake, or enjoy leisure activities like horse riding and swan boat pedaling.
+ Art lovers will appreciate a stop at XQ Embroidery Village, where you’ll witness incredible hand-embroidered masterpieces and learn about the meticulous techniques behind this traditional Vietnamese art form. Watch skilled artisans—mostly local women—create detailed, dreamlike scenes from silk threads.
+ Next, visit the Golden Statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, a peaceful spiritual site nestled among the hills.
+ End the day at the iconic Cock Church (Dalat Cathedral), notable for its European Gothic design and the bronze rooster that crowns its bell tower. Built by the French in 1931, it stands as the largest church in Dalat.
+ Before heading back, enjoy a tasting session of artichoke tea and local jams at Dalat’s Specialties Showroom—perfect souvenirs to remember your day.
