Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - Free Day (Dinner)

Yeah! You have finally arrived in Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia. Our driver will pick you up from the arrival hall in Chinggis Khaan International Airport and transfer to the hotel. This dynamic city has a little over 1 million population and offers many sites to explore. We will have a welcome dinner in local restaurant tonight.

Distance: 1 hour and 30 minutes ride to the city center depending on city traffic.

Day 2: Mini Gobi - Camel ride (Lunch/ dinner)

Tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel and head to Mini Gobi (Elsen Tasarkhai).

The Mini Gobi is a beautiful destination intertwined with Granite Mountain, lake, and dune. You will ride the Bactrian camel for an hour over the dunes and get a taste of the Gobi desert. Continue our journey to Kharkhorin town; rich in history and culture.

Upon arrival, we will visit Kharkhorum museum to learn from the ancient empires situated in Mongolia. Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Day 3: Erdenezuu Monastery - Wild Horses (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

This morning you will visit the Erdenezuu monastery to learn from Tibetan Buddhism that is a vital part of Mongolian culture. The unique architecture, colorful décor, antique Buddhist art, and active temple attract the hearts and minds of visitors. Visit the first Mongolian Buddhist monastery – Erdenezuu.

Leaving the town, we will head to Hustai National Park where you visit the information center to learn about wild Przewalski Horses and observe wild horses that are numbered around 400.

Arrive in a nomad family and learn daily chores including milking, rounding livestock, cooking class of dumplings making, processing dairy products, and playing traditional games. Stay overnight in nomad family’s guest Ger.

Day 4: Terelj National Park - Horse riding (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

After hearty breakfast, we will drive to Terelj National Park; a beautiful landscape with unique Rocky Mountains and rivers. You will saddle up on Mongolia pony horse for a short ride an hour over the hill and steppe.

Also, visit Turtle Rock; interesting natural rock formation looking like a turtle and hike to Ariyapala Meditation Temple (20-30 minutes) crossing the short trail bridge to 108 stairs. Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Day 5: Genghis Khan Statue Complex - Ulaanbaatar (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

Today we will return to Ulaanbaatar via Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex. Visit the museum and try Mongolian traditional warrior/queen costume (this will be the best photo memory of Mongolia trip). Hold an Eagle for a photo opportunity. Once in Ulaanbaatar, we will transfer you to the hotel. Have a Farewell dinner – Mongolian Traditional Food and transfer to the hotel.

Day 6: Departure

End of tour. Departure from Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Our tour driver will drop you off at the airport approx. 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
