Can Tho Heritage International Marathon is one of the most professionally organized international running races in Vietnam.

Since its inception in December 2019, the tournament has been held annually in Can Tho city, the heart of the Mekong Delta, 170 km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Competing in this tournament is not only an opportunity for you to test yourself in a tropical climate and make friends with people who love this wonderful sport from all over the world, but also an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the nature of the Southwest and, in particular, get acquainted with the life of the local people in the floating market on the river, an activity that has been selected as an intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam.

The race aims to create a professional playground, attract Vietnamese people who love running and develop and expand the long-distance running community in the country and around the world.

The Can Tho Heritage International Marathon attracts a large number of domestic and international athletes, national-level athletes and top Elite athletes in the country to participate.

The Can Tho Heritage International Marathon is a highlight in widely promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam in general, and Can Tho city with its people and the unique cultural features of the Southwestern river region in particular.

The award also aims to attract widespread support in society, from communities, organizations to businesses.

The asphalt road running track is designed to pass through famous landmarks of the historical Tay Do land such as Ninh Kieu wharf, Cai Rang floating market, Lo Vong Cung...

The race took place in ideal weather conditions at the beginning of the dry season in the South, right after the floodwaters had receded from the region. Temperatures ranged from 26-32 degrees, suitable for marathons.
