This is a complex with many shops and restaurants.

The International Market Place complex located in downtown Oahu has quite an interesting history. This land once belonged to Hawaii's first elected king, King William Charles Lunalilo. This king later gave the land to Queen Emma, wife of King Kamehameha IV. In 1959, American businessman Donn Beach leased the land from the Queen Emma Foundation and founded International Market Place. And in the center of the area is a large banyan tree, where Beach chose to build a small tree house as an office with a high view, convenient to see the business below.

Due to extensive deterioration, in 2013, International Market Place closed for a complete remodel. Most of the old structures were demolished and replaced by the three-story Saks Fifth Avenue shopping building. However, the conservation team still kept the ancient banyan tree as a memorial for Donn Beach.

Now, this place is both a shopping, dining and entertainment area, attracting both locals and tourists. Shops are arranged in an outdoor open space area decorated with many trees, Hawaiian style, visitors can both shop, look at the beautiful scenery and watch people pass by, immersing in life. of local people. Shops include world famous brands Burberry, Hollister, Balenciaga.. as well as local stores.

In addition, the International Market is also a place that regularly organizes music and dance performances.
