Profile
Mizumi restaurant has two rooms, a main dining room and an open robatayaki and teppanyaki room, along with a sushi bar. The main dining room has views of the lake and waterfall, especially shimmering at night. Architect Roger Thomas designed Mizumi's interior that reflects the sophistication and angularity of Japanese cities with its crimson interiors. Besides, small decorations such as traditional masks of Noh theater, hand-painted Japanese fans and obi belts around the restaurant contribute to creating a space of an ancient, contemplative Japan.
The menu at Mizumi is quite rich to meet the diverse tastes of diners. Chef Devin Hashimoto serves up basic hot dishes such as 72-hour braised American wagyu ribs served with pureed grilled eggplant, baby corn, summer squash, mushrooms; Seafood inaniwa pasta with scallops, king crab, octopus served with grilled tomatoes with lemon, butter uni sauce. The restaurant's teppanyaki menu (using an iron to cook food) is quite full, starting with mixed greens, tofu salad and miso soup, followed by Maya shrimp, Maine scallops, Chilean sea bass, shrimp. Maine Lobster and Angus Beef Tenderloin. Grilled sweet miso marinated black cod served with stuffed eggplant, sumiso sauce and pickled ginger; Angus beef tenderloin and black truffle teriyaki are favorites at the restaurant for their freshness and richness.
At the same time, Mizumi is an ideal spot for vegetarians because vegan rolls such as cucumber rolls, pickles rolls, vegetable rolls are enjoyed with miso soup made from tofu or udon noodles.
At the bar, Mizumi has a certified sake bartender who serves cocktails made with Japanese whiskey, plum liqueur and exotic sake. Mizumi Cloud made from lemongrass ginger shochu, Ty Ku citrus liqueur, lemon and agave is especially suitable for dishes at the restaurant. In addition, the restaurant also has a list of Japanese craft beers, shochu, top wines from Europe and the United States, and over 60 types of sake, some of which are quite rare.
Diners when coming to Mizumi can enjoy the quiet, cozy space inside or dine and watch the waterfall on cool nights in the restaurant's courtyard.
