Cibleo restaurant

This is Fabio Picchi's most recent, in the same area as his other Cibreo restaurants. Cibleo specializes in Tuscan-Asian fusion; think the dumplings are filled with Tuscan-origin Casentino pork and Mugello chicken; tripe salad with soy sauce; and Italian mussels with agretti, lemon wasabi and black pepper. There are only 20 seats and the menu is an unexpected sight for the time of countless portions of tapas at a reasonable fixed price (€50).

Cibreo restaurant has been open since 1979. Every day, Cibreo staff will greet you warmly and happily read and explain our menus to you.

Food never stays the same, like time or the earth with its fruit: it moves and changes constantly. Our menus follow the principle of the change of seasons: they seem static, but they really change from winter, to spring, summer and autumn and change every month, every week and every day.

Good chefs store in their kitchens the knowledge gathered over thousands of years and have the ability to travel to the future to make it better.

In the spring, when daylight lasts longer, you'll find us seasoning with lemon, oil and a dash of black pepper; In the summer we'll navigate in a sea of ketchup, while in the fall we'll cut up dried figs to accompany or ice cream desserts and shortbreads. And we will not fear the cold of winter, for cabbage, garlic and gravy will be our remedy.
