Housed in the historic Royal Hawaii Hotel, the beachfront bar Mai Tai has been open since 1953.

Since opening until now, Mai Tai has been a venue specializing in "handcrafted cocktails" made with fresh local fruits. Because it is located right on the beach with outdoor tables and chairs, this is a great place to enjoy delicious glasses of water while watching the sunset on the Waikiki Sea, enjoying the cool sea breeze. If desired, visitors can choose to sit in cabanas, both private and romantic. When coming here, visitors must definitely try Royal Mai Tai, a special glass of water used for the name of the restaurant. This cocktail is made from Rum, Cointreau, Amaretto, blended with fresh pineapple and orange juice, and vanilla cherry purée.
