Profile
The bustling Quartier des Bains corner just down the Plainpalais has always been a gathering place for active young people and artists, and the restaurant and bar Le Réservoir also offers a subtle contribution to this famous street. Attached to Café de la Presse of the same ownership, Le Résevoir is divided into three areas: restaurant, Wine bar and Café de la Presse.
Le Réservoir restaurant is modern yet warmly decorated with wooden tables and chairs and black and white paintings on the walls. The restaurant offers a menu of Mediterranean dishes with a hint of Italian flavour, such as sliced proscuitto wrapped with watermelon and parma ham, tagliolininero dungole and asparagus risotto, or fish dishes from Lake Geneva and beef tartar from the local farm. Desserts such as the classic Italian Gruyère ice cream are also popular at the restaurant.
The wine bar attached to the restaurant always serves Swiss wines to accompany the dish, it also serves light tapas for diners.
The Café de la Presse next to Le Réservoir is a huge nightlife, serving a different menu than Le Résevoir restaurant, where themed parties, live sports broadcasts and The live band always stirs up the atmosphere, making it an ideal place to meet friends and entertain.
