Canada's second largest amusement park

La Ronde Park was built for the purpose of entertainment for the international fair Expo 67 took place in 1967. The park has an area of about 60 hectares located at the northern peak of Helen Island with 40 games, including 14 games for the family, 12 games for children, the rest are thrilling games. Regarding roller coasters, the park has more than 10 different types, Le Monster with a height of 40 meters is recorded as the tallest twin shaft roller coaster in the world.

After the Expo, the city government continued to run the fair for the next 34 years. After that, La Ronde amusement park was transferred to Six Flags company for $ 20 million until 2065.

La Ronde Park is open from mid-May to late October, with July being the park's peak month. Besides, this is also the fireworks venue of the Montreal Fireworks Festival - the most famous and largest fireworks festival in the world.
