This label is not an official certification, but a recognition of Tatinta’s effort to promote products and experiences designed with care for people, culture, and the planet — moving toward a greener, more mindful way of travel.
This immersive STEAM journey through the Central Highlands offers participants a unique blend of science, nature, culture, and creativity. Through hands-on experiments, fieldwork, and cultural exchanges, students gain practical knowledge in biology, sustainable engineering, and digital thinking. They explore real-world applications of science in agriculture, environmental conservation, and art, while also connecting with the heritage of the region. The tour encourages teamwork, innovation, and critical thinking, empowering participants to become both curious learners and responsible global citizens.
Included:
• Transportation throughout the itinerary by private vehicle
• 2 nights’ accommodation at standard hotel or homestay (twin or group shared rooms)
• Meals as per itinerary (4 main meals + 2 breakfasts)
• Entrance fees to all attractions: museums, national parks, farms, and workshops

Day 1: The Intersection of Science and Culture
Morning:
• Pick up at Buon Ma Thuot airport or bus station.
• Visit a local museum (Coffee World Museum or Museum of Ethnology).
• Theme: “From Basalt Soil to a Cup of Coffee” – explore soil biology, crops, and the coffee production process.
Afternoon:
• Join an on-site STEAM class:
+ Conduct experiments measuring soil pH and CO₂ levels in greenhouses.
+ Create models of organic coffee farms and hydroponic vegetable gardens.
Evening:
• Gong music exchange – try crafting ethnic musical instruments using natural materials.
• Group activity: “Decoding Central Highlands Culture” (mini games on history – geography – culture).
Day 2: STEAM in the Great Forest
Morning: After breakfast, the car will take the group to Buon Don.
• Trekking into the Yok Don National Park forest.
• Observe native plants and create a scientific biology field journal.
• STEAM Tree Lab Project: Identify trees by biological traits and build a data-based classification model.
Afternoon:
• Theme: “Sustainable Engineering”
+ Build mini hydropower dams and water turbines using recycled materials.
+ Assemble an automatic drip irrigation system model.
Evening:
• STEAM Campfire Night: Present group products.
• Compose and perform a folk-inspired song using basic sound design techniques.
Day 3: Agriculture – Art – Digital Thinking
Morning:
• Visit a high-tech farm or interactive agricultural site.
• Activity: Design a small sustainable farm plan.
• Calculate input/output factors – apply mathematics to agriculture.
Afternoon:
• Join an cafe workshop: At the Si Cafe workshop, participants will be guided step-by-step to craft their own traditional phin-brewed coffee, infused with their personal taste and unique character
• Wrap-up and present STEAM lessons learned.
