Trocadero Square is located to the west of Paris, in the 16th arrondissement, France. Located in the posh neighborhood of the city, next to the Trocadéro square is the Palais de Chaillot (Palace of Trocadero) with its Museum of People and Maritime Museum. This is also the best place to see the Eiffel Tower. Trocadero Square has a diameter of 164 meters. Located next to the square, to the south, is the Palais de Chaillot, next to it is the Trocadéro garden, across the river is the Eiffel Tower. The remaining sides are avenues radiating from the square. Around the square are planted many trees, in the middle is a statue of Marshal Ferdinand Foch and a work honoring the French Army. The current location is the courtyard between the two buildings of the Palais de Chaillot, the main spot for viewing the Eiffel Tower.
