Tu Nham sand dune is also known as Tu Nham sand dune by the local people. From Tuy Hoa you will travel about 65 km, and about 35 km from Quy Nhon. The path is lined with poplar lobes, undulating among coconut forests, following the green coast to the sand dunes. Suitable means of transportation are motorbikes or cars with 16 seats or less because the road to this place is quite small. The area of Tu Nham sand hill is mainly in the upper part, so you have to cross the casuarina forest and walk for about 10 minutes to get there. If you are going here for the first time, you should ask the locals to avoid getting lost in the casuarina maze. Because this place will be very difficult to determine the direction to the top of the sand hill. The distance is a bit long, but once you get here, you will find the journey is worth it. Compared to the sand dunes in Ninh Thuan, the sand dunes of Tu Nham Phu Yen have a smaller area and the sand here does not have a variety of colors but is mainly pure white sand.
