🗓️ Day 1: Dong Hoi - Phong Nha - explore the limestone forest ecosystem - connect with the community (Lunch, dinner)

🌅 Morning:

🚐 Pick up at Dong Hoi airport or hotel, depart for Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (45 km, about 1 hour).
♻️ Stop at Phong Nha Visitor Center to listen to a presentation on conservation and sustainable tourism development, presented by conservation officers or eco-tourists.
🚣 Take a boat along the emerald Son River to visit Phong Nha Cave - a majestic limestone cave system, recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage.
⛰️ In the cave, listen to explanations about geological formations, ecosystems and conservation regulations ensuring the principle of "Don't touch - just learn"

🌞 Lunch:

🥢 Lunch at a local restaurant (eco-friendly menu, using local ingredients: river fish, wild vegetables, free-range chicken).
🏞️ Visit Chay Lap or Tram Me Village - a model community tourism model of Quang Binh.
👩‍🦱 Meet the people and learn about the process of converting livelihoods from forest exploitation to ecotourism.

☀️ Afternoon:

🌱 Join the workshop "Green living every day": instructions on making recycled products, or planting native trees with local people.
🏠 Check in at community homestay / Chay Lap Farmstay.
🚴‍♀️ Free cycling around the village, bathing in Son River, watching the sunset on Phong Nha fields.

🌙 Evening:

🍲 Dinner with the host family - enjoy local specialties.
🔥 Campfire exchange (if any), listen to stories about forest and cave conservation told by local people.
🛏️ Stay overnight at homestay.

🗓️ Day 2: Explore rivers & biodiversity - experience responsible tourism practices (Breakfast, lunch)

🌅 Morning:

🐦 Wake up early, listen to the birds and jungle fowl, take a walk around the village or join a morning meditation session in nature.
🍜 Breakfast at homestay with local ingredients.
🚶‍♀️ Join a short eco walk in Moọc Stream or the forest around Tram Me – learn to recognize medicinal plants, insects, birds and human impact on the ecosystem.

🌞 Lunch:

🍱 Lunch at home.
🚐 Get on the bus back to Dong Hoi, end of program.
✈️ Drop off at airport or hotel (flight optional).

✅ Clothing & personal items
• Wear neat, sweat-absorbent, easy-to-move-in clothes (forest walking, cave walking).
• Wear sneakers or light hiking shoes
• Bring a light raincoat or waterproof windbreaker (Phong Nha's weather changes quickly).
• Insect repellent, sunscreen, wide-brimmed hat, reusable personal water bottle.
• Cleaning cloth, spare battery, waterproof bag for phone/camera.
• If you participate in wet caves (like Dark Cave), you should bring your own swimsuit and towel.
✅ Health & Safety
• Activities may include 2–3 km bushwalking, kayaking or mountain biking, so guests should be in good basic fitness.
• If you have heart disease, blood pressure, or joint disease, you should notify in advance to adjust your activities accordingly.
• Always follow the tour guide, do not separate from the group in the forest or cave.
• Do not touch wild animals or pick plants in the National Park.
• Bring personal medications, especially for motion sickness, allergies or digestive problems.
✅ Environmental protection & responsible tourism
• Do not litter, including organic waste – please bring your own bags and collect them as instructed by your tour guide.
• Use environmentally friendly products: stainless steel/glass water bottles, paper or bamboo straws, cloth bags.
• Keep quiet in the cave and do not touch the stalactites (very easy to damage).
✅ Behavior & experience attitude
• This is a nature and community learning tour, not a luxury resort tour, so guests need to be prepared for simple facilities (homestay, local food).
• Respect village times – limit noise, loud music, or excessive alcohol.

✅ REGULATIONS ON CHILDREN:
• Children under 5 years old: Free (sitting in the same car, eating with parents, no separate seat)
• Children from 5-10 years old: 70% of adult price (including meals, seats on the bus, entrance tickets)
• Children over 10 years old: Same price as adults

Any cancellation by the guest will incur additional fees as follows:

• More than 14 days before departure date: No charge.
• From 7 days to 14 days before departure date: 50% of tour price.
• From 3 days to 6 days before departure date: 70% of tour price.
• Within 3 days before departure date or no show: 100% tour price.
