Journey to explore Cuc Phuong - Vietnam's oldest national park, combining nature experiences, learning about wildlife conservation and interacting with local communities.
This program supports environmental protection, promotes local income and minimizes negative impacts on the ecosystem.

• Learn about wildlife conservation and reforestation
• Exchange and support the Muong ethnic community economy
• Minimize tourism impact – operate on the “Leave No Trace” principle
• Do not use single-use plastic

• Private shuttle according to program
• Entrance tickets and conservation fees (entrance tickets to the national park, endangered primate rescue center, Cuc Phuong turtle conservation center, trekking) + tree planting activities to support the conservation fund
• Learning activities (Including brocade weaving workshops, tree planting, community fund)
• 3 main meals (2 lunches + 1 dinner) and 1 breakfast

🗓️ Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong – Explore the old forest (Lunch, dinner)

🕚 07:00 – Pick up in Hanoi

🚌 Tour guide introduces the trip with the slogan "Travel Light - Impact Deep"
✅ Summary of rules of conduct in the conservation area

🕚 09:30 – Arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park

✨ Check in to the garden
🌍 Stop at the Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC)
🐒 Listen to an introduction to rare langur species (delacour's langur, golden-headed langur)
🐵 Learn about the rescue - rehabilitation - release process
🚫 Do not take flash photos, keep a minimum distance of 5m

👉 Entrance fees contribute directly to the primate conservation fund

🕚 10:45 – Visit Cuc Phuong Turtle Conservation Center (TCC)

🐢 Learn to identify 20 rare turtle species
🔄 The story of releasing turtles into the wild and the harmful effects of wildlife trafficking

🕚 12:00 – Lunch at a local restaurant (Muong cuisine)

☘️ Organic ingredients, processed by local people
🥤 Do not use plastic utensils / plastic straws

🕚 13:30 – Trekking in Cuc Phuong forest (route “Ancient cave – thousand-year-old Chò tree”)

🚶 About 5km long, time 2–2.5 hours, difficulty: easy

🌲 Characteristics of tropical rainforests, forest food chain
🌿 Identify medicinal plants and native plants
🌳 The story of the “Thousand-year-old Chò tree” – the symbol of Cuc Phuong
🏞️ Stop at the stream – use your personal water bottle.

🕚 16:30 – Return to Muong village near the forest (Cuc Phuong National Park or Khanh village)

🏠 Check-in at community homestay
👩‍🦱 Introduction to Muong culture, brocade weaving, traditional cuisine

🕚 17:30 – Brocade weaving workshop & making handicrafts from linen fibers

🧵 Tourists learn to weave and add patterns with artisans
❤️ 10% of operating fees support the local children's education fund

🕚 19:00 – Traditional community dinner (Muong meal)

🍱 Grilled hill chicken, wild bamboo shoots, bamboo rice, grilled stream fish, rice wine
♻️ Discussion with the village chief about cultural and forest conservation

🕚 20:30 – “Night Talk: Conservation stories and tourist responsibilities”

🧩 Tour guide and village chief share local tourism and conservation experiences
⏰ Turn off lights at 10:00 PM to protect the nocturnal insect ecosystem

🛏️ Overnight stay: Traditional stilt house homestay

👉 No air conditioning, no TV, with fan & mosquito net

🗓️ Day 2: Wake up in nature – learn from the forest – plant new hope (Breakfast, lunch)

🕚 05:30 – Optional: Early morning birdwatching

🦜 Listen and identify bird sounds with the eco-tourist (thrush, nightingale, golden fly…)
📁 Learn how to use binoculars and record the species observed

🕚 07:00 – Breakfast at homestay

🍌 Corn milk, purple sticky rice, garden eggs, seasonal fruits

🕚 08:00 – Join the program “Learning from the forest – Eco Learning Trail”

🌿 Expert guide to identifying 30 native plant species
🍄 Practice “Reading the Forest”: find traces of insects, birds, mushrooms, tree roots
📁 Recording biological data

🕚 11:30 – Lunch picnic in the forest

🍱 Prepared food in biodegradable containers
🔄 All organic waste is collected and processed at Cuc Phuong bio-waste area

🕚 13:00 – Planting native trees (Reforestation Activity)

🌱 Each customer plants 1 tree (black cassia, green lim or flower lat)
🏷️ Sign the “Carbon Offset Impact” card
🖼️ Images sent to customer's email after 6 months

🕚 14:00 – End of activities, rest – prepare for departure

🕚 15:00 – Get on the bus back to Hanoi

🕚 17:30–18:00 – Arrive in Hanoi – end of program

🎁 Give customers a certificate "Responsible Traveler - Cuc Phuong"

🧰 Bring all necessary personal items:
• Sports shoes or trekking shoes (non-slip sole)
• Long-sleeved clothing to protect skin and repel insects
• Wide-brimmed hat, light raincoat or windbreaker
• Sunscreen, insect repellent
• Camera, binoculars
• Personal refillable water bottle to use throughout the trip

⚠️ Safety Note
• Follow the tour guide when entering the forest, do not separate from the group
• Do not touch animals, thorny plants or mushrooms
• Do not fly drones near primate areas
• Do not bring food for animals
• Do not use bluetooth speakers or headphones

✅ REGULATIONS ON CHILDREN:
• Children under 5 years old: Free (sitting in the same car, eating with parents, no separate seat)
• Children from 5-10 years old: 70% of adult price (including meals, seats on the bus, entrance tickets)
• Children over 10 years old: Same price as adults

Any cancellation by the guest will incur additional fees as follows:

  • More than 14 days before departure date: No charge.
  • From 7 days to 14 days before departure date: 50% of tour price.
  • From 3 days to 6 days before departure date: 70% of tour price.
  • Within 3 days before departure date or no show: 100% tour price.
