This is a detailed Educational Tour Itinerary in the South of Vietnam focused on Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, designed for 7 days and 6 nights. • Arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport
• Hotel check-in and welcome briefing
Afternoon:
• Visit Reunification Palace – Discuss the Vietnam War and political change
• War Remnants Museum – Learn about war history and peace education
Evening:
• Welcome dinner at local restaurant orientation talk: “South Vietnam’s Historical Turning Points”

Vietnam’s modern history, war legacy, and national reunification.


Day 2: Colonial Heritage & Modern Urbanization (B, L,D)
Theme: Cultural Identity & Urban Growth
Morning:
• City walk: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and City Hall
– Learn about French colonial architecture and city planning
• Visit Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts or Museum of Vietnamese History
• Afternoon walk to explore the alleys, the life of people in the city.
– Topics: smart city development, transport, waste management
Evening: Dinner at local restaurant

Cultural heritage, colonial influences, and modern development challenges.


Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels & War Memory Studies. (B, L,D)
Theme: Conflict, Resistance & Local Innovation
Morning:
• Travel to Cu Chi Tunnels (1.5 hours)
– Crawl through tunnels, view traps, and hear war survivor accounts
Afternoon:
• Return to HCMC with stop at a local rubber plantation or craft village
Evening:
Dinner at local restaurant

Day 4: Ben Tre – Gateway to the Mekong Delta. (B, L,D)
Theme: Agriculture, Waterways, and Local Enterprise
Morning:
• Travel to Ben Tre Province (approx. 2 hours)
• Boat ride along Ham Luong River – stop at coconut candy factory & brick kiln
Afternoon:
• Cycle through local villages and learn about coconut farming
• Home visit for traditional cooking session and cultural exchange
Evening: Dinner at local restaurant
Learning Focus:
Delta livelihoods, traditional crafts, and local enterprise in rural Vietnam.

Day 5: Can Tho – Floating Markets & Agricultural Innovation (B, L,D)
Theme: River Economy & Rural Development
Early Morning:
• Boat ride to Cai Rang Floating Market – Observe river-based commerce
• Visit to a fruit orchard or rice paper workshop
Afternoon:
• Visit and learn about the lives of the people here
– Learn about rice cultivation, aquaculture, or climate resilience projects
Evening:
• Dinner at local restaurant.

Understanding how Vietnam feeds the world and how climate affects agriculture.

Day 6: Environmental & Community Studies in the Delta (B, L,D)
Theme: Climate Impact, Wetlands & Social Adaptation
Morning:
• Visit to wetland conservation area (e.g., Tram Chim National Park or a mangrove area)
– Guided walk to explore biodiversity and flood protection
Afternoon:
• Interact with the lives of local people.
• Final reflection workshop or group debriefing:

Day 7: Return to Ho Chi Minh City & Departure (B, L,-)
Morning:
• Travel back to Ho Chi Minh City (3–4 hours)
Afternoon:
• Free time for souvenir shopping or museum revisit
• Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure
