It’s also the season for cốm (young green rice), a specialty of Hanoi’s fall.
    • Spring (February – April):
      A season of blooming flowers, festive spirit, and cultural vibrancy. Visiting Hanoi during this time allows you to experience Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) and traditional festivals celebrated across the city and nearby villages.
    • Winter (December – January):
      Hanoi winters are cold but not harsh — a perfect time to enjoy warm local delicacies like pho, pork rib porridge, hot steamed rice cakes (bánh đúc), or chicken vermicelli soup (bún thang). This is a great season for cultural and historical exploration.
    • Summer (May – August):
      Hot and humid, with occasional heavy rains. Despite the weather, it’s a lively season for festivals, entertainment, and student vacations — making the city bustling and energetic.
