Ninh Thuan

Ninh Thuan province is located in the middle of central Vietnam, has a small plain created by the Dinh River originating from the Lam Vien plateau. Ninh Thuan is famous for its white sand beaches, vineyards, onions and hot peppers, it is also home to a large number of Cham ethnic people.
Located in the South Central Coast, Ninh Thuan borders Khanh Hoa Province to the North, Lam Dong Province to the West, Binh Thuan Province to the South and the East Sea to the East.
The terrain is a mixture of mountains, plains and coastal areas. The main rivers are named Sat, Cai, Ong, Gia, Can, La, and Quao. Mountains surround the three sides of Ninh Thuan including Tha Nhon mountain, Chuan mountain, Suong Mu mountain and Dien island. The long coastline forms the capes of Da Vang, Thi, Ca Na and seaports.
The climate here is a combination of tropical monsoon climate and dry and windy weather. It is hot, dry, windy year round. There are two seasons: rainy season from May to November, dry season from December to April. The average annual temperature is 27ºC.
Ninh Thuan belongs to the tourist triangle: Da Lat - Nha Trang - Phan Rang. Coming to Ca Na tourist area, visitors can relax at Ca Na resort, swim in Ninh Chu beach, Vinh Hy bay, climb Da Trang mountain, observe natural animals at Phan Rang Reservation, or visit Pi Nang Tac Stone Trap.
As the homeland of the Cham ethnic group, Ninh Thuan has typical Cham culture, imprints in local customs, Cham dance, sculpture, pottery, brocade and Cham tower agriculture. The famous tower is named Po Klong Garai and Porome.
Today, the Cham people still preserve the matriarchy, a valuable heritage of Vietnam, with special festivals such as Kate ceremony, Cha Bun festival, Idiladha Royal ceremony, Ra Glai tribe and others such as: digging ditches, building dams, new rice.
