Opened in 1871, Ladurée Paris Royale (house number 16) was the artisan's first bakery and tea room. Featured with the pearl paint outside, the tea room still retains the exquisite art of living from the 19th century, from velvet chairs and imported furniture to exquisitely crafted crystal ornaments and decorative pieces. Plates and cups are painted with brilliant flowers.

Laduree is the most famous Patisserie in Paris and the birthplace of the macaron! Their iconic two-tiered macarons come in a variety of flavors and sell around 15,000 each day! My advice, when you go to the store, choose Chocolate with Passion Fruit and Caramel with Salted Butter. There are many shops all over Paris but the one near the Champs Elysees, the famous shopping street in Paris, is one of the most beautiful.
