Day 1: Arrival transfer to the hotel – Phnom Penh

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel (approximately 45 minutes’ drive). After check-in, the remainder of the day is at your leisure to rest and recover from your journey or begin exploring the city at your own pace. Phnom Penh, once known as the “Pearl of Asia,” is a bustling city blending French colonial charm with rich Cambodian history. In the evening, enjoy a scenic sunset cruise along the Tonle Sap River, where you can observe daily river life and see the cityscape light up as dusk settles in. (1700hrs sunset cruise take off timing from port – flight required to be in the morning).

Day 2: Phnom Penh

After breakfast visit Phnom Penh city by cyclo to discover its beautiful colonial architecture.
Get an idea of Phnom Penh’s architectural fusion from colonial to modern post -independence- by relaxing in a cyclo as you are transported through Phnom Penh’s central districts. A time travel through the architectural periods.
Visit the notorious Tuol Sleng Museum (S 21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.
End your day with visit to the Russian Market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong), a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs.

Bassac Lane is a prominent street in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, popular for its excellent restaurants, bars, cafes, and pubs. The road is one of the most happening neighborhoods with a bustling nightlife

Day 3: Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh city tour: start your city tour with visit to Wat Phnom temple, Phnom Penh’s namesake. Founded in 1373, the pagoda was built to house Buddhist relics washed ashore by the river. Then continues to visit the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art – notably sculptures – throughout the ages. Walk to visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha.
