Profile
Santorini Park gives Cha-Am a piece of the picturesque Greek island. It has all the right details, from the classic whitewashed buildings, painted windows, to the paved walkways and domed towers. An impressive system of shops, restaurants and amusement parks promises to bring everyone a great time. This photogenic outdoor recreation store occupies a large area just before turning onto the main highway to Cha-Am Beach. It's a rather unusual sight, with distinctive colors and architectural styles that set it apart from its surroundings. The cliff-top views of the ocean and sweeping beach are two missing elements that would otherwise make this place much closer to reality.
The five areas at Santorini Park offer comprehensive recreational activities. Park Zone is basically part of an amusement park, with games in a large landscaped grounds. All rides are imported from abroad, including a 40 meter high Ferris wheel, double decker carousel, G-MAX upside down bungee, G-MAX giant swing, XD Dark Ride 7D interactive game and Asia's first Wallhola climbing structure.
The Village District is the place to show off all the signature architecture of the Greek island of Santorini and the vast ocean vibe. Wandering through the maze of cobblestone streets lined with two-story whitewashed buildings with more than 140 shopping stores makes visitors feel like time flies. The rest area is where you'll find a variety of fast food outlets, cafes, personal care parlors, gas stations, convenience stores, and more souvenir shops.
Funtastic Island offers entertaining games for younger kids ages 4 to 10 like Ball House and Snow Playground/Ice Tubby. A sign at the entrance indicates whether or not to close as well as the closing time for lunch (1pm-2pm or 2pm-3pm).
In addition to shopping and entertainment, Santorini Park also has an Activity Zone, a 3,000 square meter outdoor space for concerts and live performances. The Weekend Art Market offers a flea market-style shopping experience where you can find a wide selection of creative souvenirs and handicrafts to take home.
Around Santorini Park are dozens of shops selling items such as sunglasses, fashion, fashion accessories, sportswear, shoes and toys. These include brands like Levi's, Lee, Adidas, Nike, Hush Puppies, Timberland and Ray-Ban. There are coffee shops, several restaurants (Thai, Japanese, noodles, baked goods, burgers) as well as ice cream and drinks stalls.
On the same land opposite the parking lot is Santorini Water Park, Hua Hin's newest water park with fun slides and slides, lazy river, wave pool and Kid's Paradise.
Santorini Park is located on Phetkasem Road in Cha-Am, about 30 minutes from Hua Hin, close to other attractions such as Swiss Sheep Farm, Camel Republic and 1000 Sook Farm and Food>
The fastest and most comfortable way to get there is by taxi or tuk tuk. Rent one in central Hua Hin and agree on price and duration before starting the trip. Book round trip transfers as it is difficult to find taxis or tuk tuks in Santorini to go back. The driver will be waiting for you outside.
You can also use the orange non-air-conditioned Hua Hin local bus to Cha-Am and ask the driver or conductor to stop at Santorini Park. Buses go from Hua Hin town center about an hour, fare is about 30 Baht one way.
