Profile
Chu Se terraced fields are located along Highway 25, so to reach the field, from the center of Pleiku city, visitors just need to go down Highway 25 about 43km. The terraced fields in Chu Se are created spontaneously with a gentle height, not too different in height, creating the feeling of equal rice fields like a plain. Besides, depending on the terrain, the shape of the fields here has different curvature or length. And it is the improvisation that does not follow any rules that has created a very unique mark, making Chu Se completely different from the rice fields of the Mekong Delta or in the western and northeastern highlands. Looking down from above, visitors will see the magical beauty with enchanting patches of young green or yellow. The winding path between the fields creates lines that turn the scene into a giant pattern painting. The feeling of walking along the small paths weaving between the fields, inhaling the smell of ripe rice, the rustic mud smell of this place is a great thing that visitors should try once in their life. In the midst of that clear and cool picture of nature, the yellow color of the rice fields is like an adornment of the scenery more lyrical and poetic, stirring many hearts passionate about discovering tourism. The Jrai people often cultivate two crops a year in this field and each season has its own beauty. In the growing rice season, the green color of the rice creates a green and fresh space. When the rice is ripe, the space is covered with a bright yellow color, dotted with green winding paths, creating a wonderful picture. The most ideal time to discover the beauty of Chu Se terraced fields is around September to October every year. At this time, the weather is in autumn, so it is quite cool, convenient for tourists to move and explore. In addition, this is also the time when the rice fields here have begun to turn golden, the scene will become much more poetic and lyrical.
