What to expect

At 8:00, your day begins with a hotel pick-up in Ho Chi Minh City, followed by a scenic 2-hour drive to Cai Be.

Upon arrival at the Cai Be jetty, you will be welcomed aboard the luxurious Cai Be Princess Sampan with cold towels and a refreshing drink. Set off on a leisurely cruise along the bustling waterways of the Mekong Delta.

As you navigate the river, take in the vibrant scene of local life, where everything from small fishing boats to large cargo barges filled with fresh produce ply the waters. From the comfort of your sampan, enjoy the stunning landscapes and watch life unfold along the riverbanks, all while being served traditional tea and seasonal fruit by your attentive crew.

Disembark for a short ride in a small rowboat, offering an up-close view of the lush mangrove forests and tranquil canals that wind through this part of the Delta.

Continue your cruise to an ancient 19th-century house, a perfect example of colonial architecture, where you can learn about the history and culture of the region.

Along the way, make stops to visit local cottage industries. Watch the skilled artisans at work as they produce coconut candy and puffed rice, the local equivalent of popcorn.

Your journey culminates at Le Longanier Restaurant, a beautiful colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch in this elegant setting, surrounded by fruit trees and the serene ambiance of Indochinese-era luxury.

After lunch, take a leisurely walk along a picturesque canal to the Ba Bon Bridge, where your private vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Ho Chi Minh City.
