At 08:00 am, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby to begin the tour “Marble Mountains and My Son sunset full day small group tour”.
The first stop is Marble Mountains, also known as Ngu Hanh Son, a group of five hills made of limestone and marble, resembling five fingers stretching toward the sea. The site features several caves, caverns, pagodas, many stairways, and two spectacular viewpoints. It is also home to Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes, which are important places of worship for the local population. Marble Mountains has become one of the must-see destinations for travelers who appreciate natural beauty and seek a peaceful escape from busy urban areas.
At the foot of the mountains lies a traditional marble fine art village with over 300 years of history. Here, you will admire the skills of local craftsmen, their creativity, and their uniquely beautiful handmade products.
After leaving Marble Mountains, you will return to a local family home to enjoy a Vietnamese lunch.
In the afternoon, the bus will take you to My Son Sanctuary, where you will spend about two hours exploring the site. Visiting My Son in the afternoon is considered an ideal time, as there are fewer tourists and the weather is cooler. You will walk with the guide to discover the historic and cultural ruins dating back to the 13th century, and learn about the glorious era of the Champa civilization. The guide will introduce the remains of the brick towers and explain their origins as well as the historical significance of each structure.
During the visit, you will also enjoy a traditional Cham dance performance, featuring local costumes, music, and traditional instruments.
At around 5:00 pm, you will leave My Son by minibus and head to the riverside, where you will board a private boat back to Hoi An. During the 50-minute boat ride, you can enjoy the sunset scenery along the river.
At approximately 6:00 pm, you will arrive in Hoi An. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
