Day 1: Kiruna - Mine & Ice hotel - City tour - Northern Lights in a Forest Cottage

Kiruna is the biggest city in Swedish Lapland (also it was regarded as the largest city municipality in the world. The area is rich in natural resources, it has one of the world’s largest iron mine, magnificent mountains and forests. It’s a special city which combines science and nature!

In the first day, we will visit Kiruna mine, the largest and most modern underground iron ore mine in the world. We will also visit an Ice Hotel and after being stunned by it´s architecture, we will head out for a Lappish traditional grilled salmon lunch by a campfire.

Then we will go on a city tour! We will visit Kyrka Church and the most iconic places around the city. You will then have some time on your own to go for dinner (don´t forget to ask the guide for his/her recommendations!), and once you are full, we will go on a Northern lights hunt!

After this complete and exhausting day, we will take you to your accommodation, a forest cottage, to enjoy a well deserved rest.

Day 2: Abisko - Ice waterfalls - Husky Sleigh Ride - Aurora Sky Station

Today we will continue the trip to the city of Abisko, a beautiful town in a breathtaking landscape in north Sweden. Abisko is one of the best places to see the Northern lights, and because it is surrounded by mountains, the temperature is usually warmer than other places. Abisko is also home to the largest ice waterfalls in Lapland, which we of course will visit!

We will then fill our bellies with salmon cooked in a traditional Lappish barbecue in the snow! With renewed energies, we will take part in a husky sleigh race. Join a friendly, hairy team of dogs through a 10 km ride in one of the most beautiful natural landscapes you can find.

In the evening, we will visit the Aurora Sky Station, one of the best high points from where you can see Northern lights!

Day 3: Abisko - Downhill ski

We will spend the last day with a fun experience of downhill ski! There will be free to use ski equipment and a coach available if you don’t have any experience.

Afterwards, we will transfer you back to Kiruna or Rovaniemi, It’s here we end the trip and say goodbye.
