Day 1: Arrive at Hanoi (D)
Welcome to Hanoi! The capital city, with its picturesque old town, still holds
the landmarks of colonial times as the capital of French Indochina. Beautiful
boulevards, narrow streets, and historical colonial architecture are
everywhere. You’ll stay in the city's atmospheric old town near Hoan Kiem Lake.
After check-in, enjoy a cyclo ride around the 36-street old quarter, exploring
countless streets and alleys. Experience a sensory explosion of sound, scent,
and color. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Phuc Am Village (B, L, D)
After breakfast, head south of Hanoi to Phuc Am village in the Red River Delta,
known for its votive offerings. The village is busiest during the full moon in
July and before Tet. Traditional offerings have evolved from joss paper goods
to modern items like paper luxury cars and iPhones. Return to Hanoi to visit
the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university. In the afternoon, explore
Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and the One-pillar Pagoda. Walk to
Hoan Kiem Lake and explore the old quarter or Dong Xuan Market. Overnight in
Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long (B, L, D)
Check out and travel to Hai Phong. Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina Harbor and start
cruising to Da Chong islet. Enjoy an international buffet lunch while passing
the islets of the Con Vit area. Experience sampan rowing at the Dark &
Bright Cave area and swimming at Tra Bau. Return to the cruise for a sunset
view over the Gulf of Tonkin. Participate in a cooking class onboard. Overnight
on the cruise.
Day 4: Ha Long – Dong Hoi – Phong Nha (Brunch, D)
Witness the sunrise on Ha Long Bay with Tai Chi on the sundeck. Cruise past Cat
Ba Island and visit Trung Trang Cave. Return to the mainland for brunch, then
transfer to Noi Bai Airport for a flight to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, travel to

Day 5: Phong Nha – Boat trip to explore Phong Nha Cave

Day 6: Phong Nha – Half day biking (B, L)
After breakfast, embark on a half-day cycling tour to discover local life and
landscapes. Cycle from the town along the Son River to Chay Lap village,
admiring limestone mountains, paddy fields, and forests. Enjoy a free
afternoon. Overnight in Phong Nha.
Day 7: Phong Nha – Hue (B, L, D)
Check out and travel to Hue, passing historical sites from the Vietnam War,
including the DMZ and Hien Luong Bridge. Check in to your hotel and refresh.

Day 8: Hue (B, L)
Explore Hue, the former capital of Vietnam. Take a dragon boat ride on the
Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit the Citadel and the Tomb of Khai Dinh.

Day 9: Hue – Hoi An (B, L, D)
Travel to Hoi An via Lang Co Lagoon and Hai Van Pass. Visit the Marble
Mountains and Water Mountain. Continue to Hoi An, known for its Ancient Town.
Check in and explore the town in the evening. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An (B, L)
Cycle to Tra Que village, known for its herbs and vegetables. In the afternoon,
visit an ancient tube house, a Chinese assembly hall, and the Japanese Covered

Day 12: Cai Rang floating market – Bassac cruise (B, L,
D)
Visit Cai Rang floating market, then board the Bassac cruise. Enjoy lunch
onboard and relax on the upper deck. In the afternoon, explore the delta's
countryside or take a cycling tour. Return to the boat for dinner and overnight
on the Bassac.
Day 13: Cai Be – Saigon (B)
Depart early for Cai Be. After breakfast, explore the Cho Lach canal and visit
Cai Be's handicraft workshops. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then travel
to Saigon. Check in to your hotel and enjoy free time. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 14: Saigon & Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L, D)
Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a Viet Cong base during the Indochina conflict. In
the afternoon, tour Saigon's colonial landmarks, including Notre Dame
Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the Saigon Opera House. Explore the
culture of “hẻm” (alleys) and visit a secret weapon cellar. Overnight in Ho Chi
Minh City.
Day 15: Saigon departure (B)
Enjoy free time until your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for
departure. End of services.
