You will visit Unesco heritage sites to learn about Mongolian culture and history. Also, explore the Khorgo Terkh National Park that is situated over 2000m above sea level in between mountain ranges where the moraine steppe meets volcano and its creature lake Terkh. Have an opportunity to ride two humped-camel and a Mongolian horse. Enjoy bathing in natural hot springs, visiting a nomad family, and discovering truly wild horses Takhi.

What to expect

Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar

Upon arrival our professional team will warmly welcome and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Holiday Inn hotel 3* in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 2: Chinggis Khan Statue Complex - Terelj National Park (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

Following breakfast, transfer to Chinggis khan statue complex, the largest equestrian statue of Genghis Khan. Visit the complex museum and try Mongolian traditional warrior / queen costume. Enjoy a panoramic view over Mongolian steppe from the statue’s horse mane. Leaving the statue, transfer to Terelj national park. Have lunch at Ger camp.

Afterwards, visit Ariyapal meditation temple via short photo stop at Turtle rock. Then, ride a horse about an hour in the area. Returning to the tourist camp and rest in a ger camp.

Day 3: Tsagaan Suvarga – White Stupa (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

This morning, drive to Tsagaan suvarga an incredible 30m high white limestone formation. Enjoy the magnificent view from the cliff like an ancient ruined city from the foothill. Indulge in tranquility and vastness of the Gobi desert. Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp near the cliff.

Day 4: South Gobi & Yolyn Am (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

Leaving the Middle Gobi, drive to the South Gobi to explore the Gobi Gurvansaikhan N.P. Visit Dalanzadgad city along the way. Arrive in Yolyn Am and hike for 5kms (2 hours) in green valley and ice gorge. Also, visit the provincial museum of South Gobi to learn from the Gobi flora & fauna and wildlife. Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Day 5: Khongor Sand Dune - Camel Riding (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

A day in the cool Gobi starts with sun-kissed vast steppe. Today morning, drive to Khongoryn Els sand dune through the spectacular landscape. Visit a camel herder family and ride the Bactrian camel for an hour. After that, 300m high sand dune
known as Duut Mankhan (Singing Dunes) is awaiting us to mount. Whether you reach the peak or not this climb will leave you beautiful memory about the trip. Those reaching the peak will be rewarded with magical sunset view over sand dunes and waves. Stay overnight in the tourist Ger camp.

Day 6: Khavtsgait Petroglyphs - Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag) (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

After breakfast, we head east north to explore ancient rock painting and the most popular site in the Gobi. Drive across Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain and arrive in Khavsgait Petroglyphs. Take a morning hike uphill to a gallery of rock painting dated back to the Bronze Age. Enjoy a bird view of endless steppe and mirage from the hill. Leaving the site, we will shortly arrive in Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag); renowned worldwide for the dinosaur eggs and bones discovered in the classic desert of rock and red sand. Afternoon hike through the Bayanzag where find many spots to photograph and enjoy time travel to the Cretaceous period. You will also explore Zag – Gobi wood saxual shrub which is vital to the Gobi ecosystem.

Arrive in tourist Ger camp close to the Bayanzag and unwind. The nights in the Gobi are blanketed by stars.

Day 7: Ongi Monastery ruins (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

Today we will head the Ongi ruin in the Middle Gobi which is a perfect stopover before we head central Mongolia. Across the vast steppe, the Ongi monastery was a former Buddhist complex situated on the bank of the Ongi River. You will visit the restored temple and hike through the fascinating ruins and river Ongi. Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Day 8: Orkhon waterfall (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

Leaving the Gobi behind, we will arrive in beautiful valley Orkhon. Along the way, you will visit Temeen Chuluun Deer Stone – tombstone and deer steles since it was home to ancient people. Enjoy a break in Uurtiin Tohoi Cliffs - viewpoint over Orkhon valley. Deep in the valley, discover Orkhon waterfall, a part of Unesco world heritage site and happy nomads village. Stay overnight in tourist Ger camp.

Day 9: Tsenkher Hot Spring (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

After breakfast, we drive to the next destination Tsenkher hot spring; another beautiful valley. Upon arrival in the camp, bathe in natural hot Sulphur spring at Tsenkher hot spring and take a pleasant break in the beautiful nature.

Day 10: Kharkhorin & Erdenezuu Monastery (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

Today we will explore Kharkhorin town; rich in history and Buddhist culture. You will visit the first Mongolian Buddhist monastery - Erdenezuu which attracts visitors for its unique architecture, colorful décor, antique Buddhist arts, and active temple. Next, you will visit the well- established Kharkhorum museum to learn from the history of ancient empires. Then visit symbolic ruin of the ancient capital, The Rock Turtle and Karakorum museum. Next visit Khaadiin Khad Hill where you can have panoramic view of the Orkhon River Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in tourist Ger camp.

Day 11: Hustai National Park - Ulaanbaatar (Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner)

Have a leisure morning. After breakfast, explore Hustai National Park. Arriving in the park, visit information center to learn about wild Przewalski Horses. Observe wild horses that are numbered around 400. Then, drive to the Ulaanbaatar city. Upon arrival in the city, enjoy traditional folk concert of throat singing, fiddle horse– morin khuur, folk dance and music, contortion and mask dance. Have a Farewell dinner – Mongolian Traditional Food and transfer to Holiday Inn hotel 3*.

Day 12: Departure from Ulaanbaatar (Breakfast)

Transfer to the international airport for your departure point. Say `Bayartaiy' (goodbye) to the Land of BlueSky and depart to your home country with full of adventure and great memories.
