In just one day, you will be immersed in the poetic space of Mai Chau Valley, where lush green rice fields stretch beneath ancient stilt houses. This tour is more than just a sightseeing trip; it is a vivid cultural experience in Lac Village and Pom Coong, preserving hundreds of years of traditional values of the Black Thai people. From the melodious sound of traditional flutes to the rich flavors of Northwest cuisine, everything creates an unforgettable memory of this rustic and hospitable land.

    Meeting and pickup

    • Pickup and drop-off at hotels within the Hanoi Old Quarter or designated meeting points in Hanoi.

    Program schedule

    • 06:30 AM – 07:15 AM: Bus and guide pick you up at the meeting point in Hanoi, departing for Mai Chau Valley.

    • 11:30 AM: Arrive in Mai Chau. Enjoy a local lunch at Lac Village, savoring traditional highland cuisine.

    • 01:00 PM: Begin the exploration of Lac Village – a 700-year-old ancient village of the Black Thai people, learning about upland rice cultivation and brocade weaving. Following this, enjoy a cycling trip through Pom Coong and Na Phon villages. In Pom Coong, you will discover the meaning of the village's name – hills situated on a giant drum, admire unique stilt house architecture, and witness the peaceful community life of the Thai people.

    • 03:30 PM: Guests board the bus to return to Hanoi.

    • 07:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, concluding the Mai Chau cultural discovery journey.

    • Please bring sports shoes and warm clothes suitable for the mountain weather and activities. The itinerary may be flexibly adjusted to ensure the best experience.
