On this tour, travelers will glide through calm mangrove waterways by SUP board (optional) or small boat, discovering a unique ecosystem of green mangrove forests, bird habitats, and mirror-like water perfect for relaxing photos.

You will also join local fishermen for hands-on traditional fishing activities, learning how to use local traps to catch fish, prawns, and crabs. The experience continues with a visit to a local aquaculture area where seafood is raised using a “semi-wild” method that protects nature and preserves the ecosystem.

The journey ends with a fresh seafood lunch in a local fishing house, making this tour ideal for nature lovers and travelers seeking an authentic, peaceful outdoor experience in Quy Nhon.

Program schedule

08:30 – Pick-up at meeting point / hotel / resort in Quy Nhon.
Depart for Con Chim Ecozone, a peaceful mangrove area near the lagoon.

09:30 – Arrive at Con Chim preservation area.
Stop at a local fishing house, receive instructions and prepare for the experience.

09:45 – Mangrove discovery by SUP (optional) or small boat.
Glide through calm waterways under mangrove shade, enjoy nature views, and take photos.
If guests do not wish to use SUP, all activities can be done by small boat.

10:30 – Local fishing experience with fishermen.
Join local fishermen and learn traditional fishing techniques:
• Use local fishing traps
• Try catching fish, prawns, and crabs
Then visit a local aquaculture area to learn about the “semi-wild” farming method that preserves the ecosystem.

11:30 – Clean-up and seafood lunch.
Wash hands, change clothes, and enjoy a fresh seafood meal at the local fishing house.

13:30 – Drop-off at your hotel/resort in Quy Nhon.
End of the tour.

Additional info

Suitable for beginners; no SUP experience is required.
SUP is optional. Guests can join all activities by small boat if preferred.
Bring sunscreen, extra clothes, and a waterproof bag for personal items.
Activities may vary depending on tide levels and weather conditions.
Bird sightings are not guaranteed because birds are wild and depend on nature and timing.
Guests are kindly requested not to use drones according to Vietnamese regulations.
