From Reykjavík: Reykjavík Imagine Peace Tower Tour (in memory of John Lennon)

Enjoy an evening dedicated to Yoko Ono and John Lennon’s continuing campaign for world peace. The tour unites history, art and nature and is set on the beautiful island of Viðey, mere minutes from Reykjavík by boat. On this 2 hr. guided walking tour, you will learn all about the Imagine Peace Tower, the island's important trading history, artwork and nature. The Reykjavík skyline and its surrounding area is not to be missed and if lucky, you might even get a chance to see the northern lights appear overhead!

From Reykjavík: Reykjavík Sea Angling Gourmet

On this small group tour set on one of our smaller vessels, we will take you to the best fishing grounds the bay offers. Our captains have great skills and will teach you the best techniques while sharing their personal insights. To ensure that everyone has the best experience possible, only up to 12 people can join each tour. On board you'll get the all the necessary fishing equipment as well as protective clothing. As an added bonus, the crew will barbecue your catch on board, complimented with some potatoes and homemade sauce - and if you catch a lot, you may even keep the rest!

From Reykjavík: Reykjavík Northern Lights Cruise

Search for Aurora Borealis away from the city lights, on this thrilling winter cruise. Watching the lights constantly change in intensity, colour and movement in the vast starry space with the gentle lull of the ocean beneath is a thrilling, unique experience. The Northern Lights are best displayed under dark, clear skies and you can find these conditions in Reykjavík from September until the end of April. For an optimal aurora pursuit we need three things; solar activity, clear skies and darkness. A lot of other tour operators will cancel their tours if the forecast is not in their favour - well, we don’t! We know that you don’t have many days to search for the lights and that the weather can change in mere minutes, anywhere from a full cloud forecast to clear skies. We want to maximise your chance the best we can and so WE WILL ALWAYS GIVE IT A GO! Our searching area is close to shores and around small islands, far enough away from city lights and therefore it is ideal for a smooth and comfortable sailing.

From Reykjavík: Reykjavík Classic Puffin Watching

Our classic puffin tours are intimate, fun and a comfortable adventure on a small boat! Depending on the tides and conditions on the islands our captains will take you to either Engey, Akurey or Lundey, one of three islands well known for their plentiful birdlife. We cannot go on the islands, but try and get as close as possible without disturbing the nesting birds. In addition to puffins you have the opportunity to view other birds such as eider ducks, arctic terns, guillemots and cormorants. The island's shores are rocky but our captains know the best spots to get close to the puffins without disturbing any natural behaviour. If the weather is right we might even turn off the engines so that you can enjoy the nature better and listen to the bird's calls. During the tour the crew will tell you interesting facts and tales about the puffins and the surroundings. As the birds are small in size, we recommend bringing a good zoom lens for 'close up' photography or binoculars (also available board).

Enjoy a magical journey into Faxaflói bay with our expert crew and specially trained naturalists. Explore the whales of Reykjavík under the excellent guidance of our marine biologist guides and learn all about the incredible wildlife that call Iceland their home. The bay is even full of birdlife, from puffins and gannets to guillemots and more, that actively feed on the plentiful fish found in the bay. Magnificent landscapes surround the area and add a unique contrast to the vast ocean, where the spectacular views on the horizon are certainly not to be missed.
