Day 01: ARRIVE SIEM REAP
Arrive at Siem Reap International airport where you will be
met by your tour guide and then transfer to your hotel for check-in. At midday,
you will be taken to a local restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon, you start the tour to visit Tonle Sap Lake
by taking a boat trip. It is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and
is an ecological hotspot that was designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. You
will visit the local floating village. Then, back to the city for nightlife. Overnight
in Siem Reap.
Day 02: FULL DAY
ANGKOR WAT AND ANGKOR THOM (B,L)
In the morning, start the tour by tuk-tuk to visit the South
Gate of Angkor Thom, and then go to Angkor Thom Complex which was built by
Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is
the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism are still unknown until now.
Then, visit Baphoun which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in
its heyday. Visit the Terrace of the Elephants which was used as a giant
reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand
audience hall. Visit The Terrace of the Leper King is another of Angkor’s
mysteries. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the Afternoon, visit the World Heritage which is well
known as Angkor Wat, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in
South-East Asia. Angkor Wat stretches over some 400 sq. km., including forested
area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the
different capitals of the Khmer Empire. In the evening view sunset at Phnom
Bakheng Hill. Then return to your hotel for your leisure time.
Day 03: BANTEAY
SREI (B,D)
After breakfast, you will visit Banteay Srei, the exquisite
‘Women’s Citadel’. Located 32 km from Siem Reap town, this was Cambodia’s last
major Khmer temple to be re-discovered. And then visit Banteay Samre, built in
the third quarter of the 12th century. Lunch will be served at a local
restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple which
is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees. In the evening, enjoy dinner at
a local restaurant and some time to enjoy the nightlife of Siem Reap. Dinner
will be served at a local restaurant.
Day 04: SIEM REAP – HO CHI MINH CITY (B,D)
After breakfast, time at leisure until your driver picks up
then transfers to Siem Reap airport for your departure flight to Ho Chi Minh
City (Also called “SAIGON”), Vietnam. Airport pick up and transfer to the city
for hotel check-in.
In the afternoon, visit Saigon "Colonial" that
lives outside the building Reunification, the Post Office, designed by Gustave
Eiffel and neo-Romanesque Cathedral of Notre-Dame, City Hall, the Opera House
and Ben Thanh Market. Later, explore colorful outdoor markets in the city's
main shopping boulevards. There are the alluring handicraft, souvenirs,
housewares, fashion clothing, accessories boutiques designed by up-and-coming
Vietnamese designers. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 05: CAO DAI TEMPLE & CU CHI TUNNELS (B,L)
After breakfast. From Saigon, drive to Tay Ninh, the
birthplace of the unique CAO DAI religion, a fusion of Buddhism, Confucianism,
Taoism, Christianity, Islam and native Vietnamese spiritual beliefs. Every day
at noon, worshippers garbed in colorful robes flock to the CAO DAI GREAT TEMPLE
to participate in the daily prayer sessions, which visitors may respectfully
observe from the upper balconies. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afterwards, continue to the CU CHI TUNNELS. Never discovered
by American forces, these tunnels were an important Vietcong base during the
American War. Stretching over 200 km, this incredible underground network, dug
by hand out of hard laterite, connected command posts, hospitals, shelter, and
weapon factories. Today, you can walk through the area and learn about the
day-to-day life of the VC, see the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate
booby-traps, and even venture inside the tunnels, some of which have been
modified to accommodate tourists. Return to Saigon in the late afternoon.
Day 06: MY THO – CAN THO (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel then departs to the Mekong Delta.
Arrive in My Tho, take a boat ride within the canals to explore the local daily
life activities. Then continue to cruise to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) of Ben
Tre province. Motorized boat cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in
Ben Tre province. Visit orchards, bee-keeping houses, enjoy honey tea, seasonal
tropical fruit, and traditional music. Take a horse cart along the peaceful
village. Rowing-boat ride along a small mangrove palm creek (mangrove palm or
Nypa-frutican known as "dừa nước" in Vietnam). See the coconut candy
production process then drive to Can Tho for an overnight stay.
Day 07: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - DA NANG / HOI AN (B,D)
Have an early visit to the colorful Cai Rang floating
market, where you can witness all of the trading activities of local traders
with several kinds of agricultural products from one boat to another. The Cai
Rang floating market is one of the many well-known and the biggest wholesale
markets in the western region of Southern Vietnam, which was formed during the
Nguyen Dynasty in the 19th century. All the goods are transported to the market
by boats. From the floating market, goods are shifted for selling at inland
markets or small boats take them for delivery along canals in the Plain of
Reeds. Approximately 50 to 80 boats filled with fruits, vegetables, and other
products are anchored here and make it very busy from 05:00 am in the morning
until late in the afternoon. The products are hung on a pole in front of the
boats to attract customers and it is also easier for customers to see the
products they want to buy from afar and no need to go from one boat to another
to save their time.
You then continue the cruise to a local factory to visit and
learn how pop rice, popcorn, rice paper and coconut candies are made. Get back
to your car and drive back to the Can Tho airport. Fly to Da Nang. Transfer to
Hoi An - Hoi An ancient town which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO
as a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port of the 15th to
19th centuries, with buildings that display a unique blend of local and foreign
influences. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 08: HOI AN - TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE – THANH HA
VILLAGE (B,L)
In the morning, visit the Hoi An local market and experience
the amazing atmosphere in this busy market. Learn about all the ingredients
that will be used in the cooking lesson. Cycling to Tra Que Village, visiting
the vegetable garden, you have the opportunity to and meet and work (if you
like) with the local people who are working on their field using the
traditional methods of hundreds of years ago. You will pick fresh vegetables
and Vietnamese mint for your cooking lesson then taste the herbal drink served
by the landlord.
Afternoon, take the boat ride on the Hoai river to the Thanh
Ha village.
Day 09: HOI AN – HAI VAN PASS - HUE (B, D)
After breakfast, visit the ancient town. Walking through the
narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the
Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the
Japanese Bridge. Leave Hoi An to Hue.
On the way to Hue, stop over Hai Van pass and Lap An lagoon.
Arrive at Hue. Check in to the hotel and Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: HUE – IMPERIAL CITADEL (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel then start your day trip by visiting
the Imperial Museum, a gallery of antiques displaying collections of bronze,
pottery, Phap Lam enamel, court robes, head-gear, and personal belongings of
former Vietnam Emperors. Then explore the UNESCO cultural World Heritage – the
complex of Hue Monuments including the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple
City. Afternoon, take a cruise on the romantic Perfume River, which is
considered a symbol of Hue Imperial City. The first stop is at Thien Mu Pagoda
– an iconic beauty of Hue. The next visit is to Minh Mang King's and Tu Duc
Emperor’s tombs. Return to your hotel and free to explore the Hue city by
night. Overnight in Hue.
Day 11: HUE – HANOI (B,D)
Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the airport for a
flight to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel.
Check-in hotel.
In the afternoon, around the old town with a traditional
cyclo, along the narrow and crowded streets and passing through workshops of
embroiderers or manufacturers of votive objects in paper, traditional
pharmacies, candy stores, clothes, hats, and wooden puppets. Then visit The
Lake of Restored Sword, Turtle Tower, The Huc Bridge then experience the famous
"Water puppet show: In the theater on the banks of the Lake of the
"Sword returned" we are witnessing a unique spectacle in which the
actors are puppets in wood, accompanied by evocative music, act and dance on
the water reviving the ancient traditional stories, tasty everyday scenes and
events taken from the most poetic folk legends. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B,L)
A full day exploring the capital city’s sights with a visit
to the Ethnology Museum, The Literature Temple. In the afternoon, visit the One
Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh’s home, Ba Dinh Quarter and shopping at the Old
quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 13: HANOI - HA LONG
BAY (B,L,D)
After breakfast, departure by bus to Ha Long. All arrivals
will board a traditional boat “Victory Star Cruise “ - Accommodation in cabins
reserved, all comfortable with hot water, air conditioning, open view of the
Bay. Lunch is served on board, prepared by the sailors.
Beginning of the cruise in the stunning Ha Long Bay, one of
the natural wonders of the world. Visit a fairy cave called Surprise or Palace
Celeste. Short free time and opportunity to enjoy a special moment of
relaxation, soaking in the emerald waters surrounded by karst rocks. Dinner of
seafood. Overnight on board the boat with an idyllic and relaxing bay.
Day 14: HA LONG – HANOI (BRUNCH)
Breakfast on board with coffee and biscuits. Continuation of
the cruise Sampan rowing and visit Luon cave. Back on board the boat and a rich
brunch is served between 9:30 and 11:00. Landing and departure to Hanoi. Along
the way, stop at a handicraft factory where work still the victims of war,
people with disabilities due to the lack, in the past, and vaccinations due to
the side effects of the bombs exploded during the war. Arrive in Hanoi around
4:00 pm. At leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 15: HANOI – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at the hotel then at leisure until the time of
transfer to the airport for your flight home.
