One day trip from Bangkok to explore the ancient temples of Ayutthaya. See Bang Pa In Royal Palace(Summer Palace), the summer home of Thai kings. If you want to know and see more of Ayutthaya, come with us, and let’s slip back in time in the ancient capital of Thailand! Our tour of Ayutthaya lets you explore the UNESCO-listed temples and palaces at Ayutthaya Historical Park which are all significant to Ayutthaya’s history. You’ll also explore several ruins at the Ayutthaya Historical Park and marvel at the area’s former glory from centuries past.

06:15am – 07:00am Pick up from your hotel or meeting point in the following areas: Khaosan, Silom, Sathorn, Sukhumvit (Soi 1-24), Asoke, Pratunam.
07:30am Depart from Bangkok to Ayutthaya.
09:00am Visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, climb onto the famous 50 meters high pagoda to see the surrounding rice field and the town of Ayutthaya. Then visit Wat Lokayasutharam, pray to the 42 meters long reclining Buddha. Next, we will bring you to Wat Yai Chaimongkol, built by King U-Thong in 1357 AD. This is one of the oldest and most important temples of Ayutthaya. Before lunch, we will visit Wat Mahathat which is renowned for the Buddha’s head in tree roots.
12:00pm Lunch, having Thai Food at a local restaurant.
01:00pm Visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, which was the holiest temple located on the site of the old Royal Place of Ayutthaya.
02:30pm Visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace (Summer Palace). King Prasat Thong constructed the original complex in 1632 and it has been restored and maintained by Thai Kings until today. The place remains largely open to visitors and the former King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his family use it only rarely for banquets and special occasions.
03:00pm Depart from Ayutthaya to Bangkok.
05:00pm Send you back to Khaosan Road Only. (Khaosan Road is a famous destination for a backpacker)
