What to expect

This day trip from Ho Chi Minh City immerses you in the heart of Ben Tre, the "Land of Coconuts," where you’ll discover the rural charm and local industries of the Mekong Delta.

Starting at 08:00, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a 2-hour drive south to Ben Tre. Upon arrival, board a local boat to navigate the tranquil canals and sip on fresh coconut water as you explore the area.

Visit traditional brick kilns and coconut workshops where locals continue ancient methods to create everything from bricks to coconut-based products. Experience the time-honored art of coconut candy-making, where women skillfully craft the sweet treat by hand.

Take a break to savor tropical fruits and honey tea in a peaceful garden, then continue your journey by bicycle or on a vintage motor-tricycle (upon request). After a delicious lunch featuring local specialties, take a sampan ride through the serene canals, immersing yourself in the quiet beauty of this unique part of the Delta.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the mid-afternoon, filled with memories of the authentic rural life of Ben Tre.
