What to expect

08:00 - 08:30: Pick up guests

  • Car and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point in the center of Hanoi (designated location). Start the journey to explore the capital.

08:45 - 09:30: Tran Quoc Pagoda

  • Visit the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century, located next to the poetic West Lake. Learn about the history and unique architecture, especially the sacred atmosphere during Tet.

09:45 - 11:00: Ho Chi Minh Complex

  • Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (if open), Stilt House, and surrounding area to learn about Uncle Ho's simple life.
  • Explore One Pillar Pagoda, one of the four famous symbols of Hanoi with unique lotus-shaped architecture. (The Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and from about June 10 to August 13 every year for maintenance. During these days, only visit the outside of the Mausoleum.)

11:15 - 12:30: Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

  • Explore Hanoi's largest and most fascinating museum with indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Admire the traditional architecture of ethnic minorities such as Tay, Thai, and Dao, along with unique cultural artifacts.
  • The museum is closed on Mondays and Tet holidays. If closed, the tour will replace it with the Ho Chi Minh Museum or the Vietnamese Women's Museum.

12:45 - 13:30: Lunch

  • Stop at a local restaurant to enjoy Vietnamese dishes.
  • Note: Lunch is at your own expense, not included in the tour.

13:45 - 14:45: Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy

  • Visit the first university in Vietnam, built in the 11th century. Explore highlights such as Ho Van, Khue Van Cac, and 82 doctoral steles with the names of 1,306 scholars. Your tour guide will tell you stories about the history of Vietnamese education.

15:00 - 16:15: Hoa Lo Prison

  • Visit the prison built by the French colonialists in 1896, which was once a place to detain revolutionary soldiers. Listen to your tour guide tell emotional historical stories and see artifacts from the war.

16:30: End of tour

  • The car will take you back to the original pick-up point in the center of Hanoi, ending a meaningful journey of discovery.
