Profile
Acupressure is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that has a long history, along with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and qigong. It is based on the principle of balancing the flow of Qi (chi) through the body’s meridians. When Qi is blocked, the body is prone to disorders and diseases. By applying direct pressure with the hands on acupuncture points, acupressure therapy helps to clear the flow of Qi, balance energy, and improve overall health.
At Dr.Tan Clinic, acupressure is often combined with other methods such as acupuncture or Kinesio tape to increase the effectiveness of treatment.
