The Namche Bazaar Trek offers a short and accessible journey in the Everest region, starting in Lukla and ascending to the Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar at 3,440 meters. Serving as the gateway to the high Himalayas, Namche is ideal for acclimatization and shopping for trekking essentials. From Namche, adventurers can extend to Everest Base Camp or opt for a day hike to the Everest Viewpoint, providing breathtaking vistas of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. This trek seamlessly blends Himalayan beauty with Sherpa culture, offering a memorable experience.

What to expect

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival

Pick up from Airport and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02 - Kathmandu City Tour

Breakfast at hotel.

  • Start your day with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Witness the fascinating rituals and cremations on the banks of the Bagmati River.
  • Head to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in South Asia and a center of Tibetan Buddhism. Take a kora (circumambulation) around the stupa, spinning prayer wheels and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring delicious Nepali cuisine.

  • Visit Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the “Monkey Temple,” perched on a hilltop overlooking Kathmandu. Admire the stunning views of the city and witness the playful monkeys that inhabit the temple grounds.
  • Travel to Patan Durbar Square, located in Lalitpur, the city of art. Explore the intricate temples, palaces, and courtyards, showcasing the unique Newari architecture and craftsmanship.

Return to your hotel or explore the vibrant Thamel neighborhood for souvenirs and local delicacies.

Day 3: Kathmandu - Lukla Flight And Trekking Starts

Fly to Lukla early in the morning (2827 mtr. 35 minutes) and trek to Phakding (2640 mtr. 3 hours walking) stay over night at Lodge.

Day 4: Trek From Phakding - Namche Bazaar

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 mtr. 6/7 hours walking) stayover night at Lodge.

Day 5: Rest Day In Namche Bazaar

Rest day in Namche and hike up for Everest view and acclimatization.

Day 6: Trek Back from Namche to Lukla

This day you have to walk little longer than other day. Because we cross Phakding camp, so it takes little walking hard.

Day 7: Fly Form Lukla To Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu early in the morning (35 minutes) and stay over night at hotel.

Day 8:  Kathmandu - Departure

Departure from Kathmandu to onward destination.

  • Please read the information carefully before booking a tour
  • Be sure to book your tour in advance, especially if you are traveling during peak season (October-November and March-May).
  • Bring the proper gear. You will need warm clothing, rain gear, sunscreen, and sunglasses. You may also want to bring a headlamp and trekking poles.
  • Be prepared for altitude sickness if you are going to Chitwan National Park.
  • For trekking you should be fit to walk.
  • Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of snacks to stay hydrated and energized.
