What to expect

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival

Meeting upon arrival at the Kathmandu International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Refreshment drink and briefing about the tour. Evening welcome dinner at typical Nepali restaurant.

Day 2: Kathmandu City Tour

Breakfast at hotel.

  • Start your day with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Witness the fascinating rituals and cremations on the banks of the Bagmati River.
  • Head to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in South Asia and a center of Tibetan Buddhism. Take a kora (circumambulation) around the stupa, spinning prayer wheels and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.
  • Budhanilkantha, a sacred site near Kathmandu, unveils the awe-inspiring sight of a massive reclining Lord Vishnu carved from a single stone. Marvel at the serenity and spiritual significance of this ancient Hindu pilgrimage spot, where devotees seek blessings and tranquility.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring delicious Nepali cuisine.

  • Visit Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the “Monkey Temple,” perched on a hilltop overlooking Kathmandu. Admire the stunning views of the city and witness the playful monkeys that inhabit the temple grounds.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square is located in the center of Kathmandu city, where the palaces of King Malla and Shah are located. This place has many unique temples and sculptures, reflecting Newar architectural art. A highlight is Kumari Chouk, housing the living goddess, Kumari.
  • Travel to Patan Durbar Square, located in Lalitpur, the city of art. Explore the intricate temples, palaces, and courtyards, showcasing the unique Newari architecture and craftsmanship.

Day 3: Kathmandu - Nagarkot

After having breakfast, we will start our full day sightseeing: 

  • Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site, mesmerizes with its medieval charm. Home to ancient palaces, courtyards, and intricate artwork, it's a cultural gem reflecting Newar architecture and history.
  • Changu Narayan, a UNESCO-listed temple near Bhaktapur, stands as the oldest Hindu temple in the Kathmandu Valley. Discover its intricate art, historic significance, and panoramic views of the surroundings.

Then we moved to Nagarkot.

Overnight at resort in Nagarkot; beautiful touristy site for sunrise, sunset and haughty Himalayan peaks.

Day 4: Nagarkot - Pokhara

As dawn breaks, the snow-capped peaks transform into a canvas of golden hues, igniting an unforgettable sunrise spectacle.

After breakfast at your hotel, we drive to Pokhara by sightseeing on the way.

Day 5: Pokhara Tour

After breakfast, we start to visit Pokhara city:

  • Barahi Temple, on an island in the middle of Phewa Lake, honors the goddess Barahi, a symbol of feminine strength in Nepali culture.
  • World Peace Pagoda, a white Buddhist statue, offers beautiful views of Pokhara and the Annapurna range.
  • Buddhist monastery, just north of Phewa Lake, peaceful place with greenery.
  • Bindhyabasini Temple, dedicated to goddess Durga, on a small hill in central Pokhara dates back to the 16th century.
  • Gupteswora Cave, a sacred cave worshiping Lord Shiva, attracts Hindus and curious visitors.

Day 6: Pokhara - Lumbini

Breakfast at the hotel. We transfer to Bhairahawa (flight fare will be extra if by flight) by private vehicle.

Then transfer to Lumbini hotel.

Day 7: Lumbini Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. We start to explore Lumbini - birth place of Lord Buddha and it has some special historical places related with Him:

  • Maya Devi Temple, marks the sacred birthplace of Buddha. With ancient architecture, it holds historical significance. Pilgrims seek tranquility in this revered temple dedicated to Buddha's mother, Maya Devi.
  • The Ashoka Pillar is a colossal stone pillar erected by King Ashoka, an Indian monarch following the Buddhist faith, to propagate Buddhist laws and ethics.
  • The Palace of Lord Buddha is the residence of King Suddhodana, the father of Buddha, located in Kapilavastu. This is where Buddha lived until the age of 29 before renouncing royal life.

Overnight in Lumbini.

Day 8: Lumbini - Chitwan

After breakfast at the hotel, we start to drive from Lumbini to Chitwan National Park and you will take part in some jungle activities. Evening enjoy with Tharu cultural stick dance with dinner.

Day 9: Chitwan jungle activities

Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Begin with a serene canoe trip, navigating through picturesque waterways.
  • Engage in a nature walk, where our experienced guides unveil the secrets of the vibrant ecosystem.
  • Tharu village tour, discovering the indigenous culture and traditions.
  • Explore the elephant breeding center, gaining insights into conservation efforts.

Conclude the day with a relaxing evening, surrounded by the natural beauty of Chitwan.

Day 10: Chitwan - Kathmandu

Morning with an enriching bird-watching program, delving into the diverse avian species of the region.

Later, embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying picturesque landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival, the remainder of the day is at your leisure for shopping or relaxation. Explore the vibrant markets, indulge in local crafts, or simply unwind in the charming ambiance of Kathmandu.

Day 11: Kathmandu - Departure

After breakfast we will take you to the airport for departure.
