Day 1: Hanoi – Tam Coc – Hoa Lu – Ninh Binh
Dive into Vietnam's rich history with a day trip to the picturesque province of Ninh Binh. Start your day at 08:30, leaving behind the bustling streets of Hanoi for the serene countryside. After a 2-hour drive, arrive at the Tam Coc River, known as 'Halong Bay on Land.' Here, board a private sampan to cruise through the three caves, surrounded by towering limestone karsts. Enjoy the tranquil waters and breathtaking views before savoring a delicious Vietnamese lunch. In the afternoon, continue to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s first capital, where you’ll explore ancient ruins and learn about the Dinh and Le Dynasties. For those up for a challenge, a half-hour hike up the limestone hills offers spectacular views of the area.
Option: Instead of visiting Hoa Lu, opt for a scenic bike ride around the village, alongside rice fields nestled amidst limestone mountains. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda, where a climb of 200 steps leads to three ancient cave pagodas with stunning countryside views. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 2: Ninh Binh – Ha Long
Experience the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay in the best possible way—aboard a charming boat. Depart Ninh Binh at 07:30 and drive to Ha Long City, arriving at the pier around noon. After boarding and settling into your cabin, enjoy lunch as the boat cruises through the emerald waters, surrounded by thousands of limestone islands. The afternoon is filled with activities or visits, depending on the boat’s itinerary. As evening falls, anchor among the karst formations, watch the sunset from the deck, and enjoy a delightful dinner before retiring for the night. Overnight on Ha Long or Lan Ha Bay.

Day 3: Ha Long – Hanoi
Awaken to the fresh morning air of Ha Long Bay. After breakfast, enjoy the serene surroundings of the bay’s spectacular rock formations as the boat cruises back towards the port. Disembark and meet your driver for the transfer back to Hanoi.
