7:30 AM – Quang Tri Citadel.
Visit the historical site of Quang Tri Citadel, where the fierce 81-day, 81-night battle took place during the scorching summer of 1972. Our guide will explain the historical significance, the courageous resistance, and the sacrifices of thousands of soldiers who defended every inch of their homeland.
8:30 AM – Transfer to Route 9 – Da Krong Bridge.
The bus takes the group along National Route 9, a route steeped in wartime history. It connected the east and west of the Truong Son Mountains, forming part of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail.
10:00 AM – Visit Da Krong Bridge.
Admire the Da Krong Bridge spanning the Da Krong River, which played a vital role in transferring weapons and supplies to the southern battlefields during the war.
10:30 AM – Ta Con Airport (Khe Sanh).
Arrive in Khe Sanh and visit Ta Con Airport, a major US military base during the 1968 Khe Sanh Campaign. The site still preserves artifacts such as aircraft, artillery shells, and battlefield trenches.
11:30 AM – Lunch at a local restaurant.
1:00 PM – Transfer to Vinh Moc Tunnels.
Head to the coastal area of Vinh Linh to explore a remarkable network of underground tunnels, built to shelter and protect civilians during US bombing raids.
3:00 PM – Vinh Moc Tunnels Tour:
Explore the three-level tunnel system stretching over two kilometers, a striking testament to the resilience and determination of the Vinh Linh people. Discover how people lived underground, with facilities such as housing, a hospital, meeting rooms, and more.
4:00 PM – Transfer to Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River:
Continue your journey to the historic bridge that divided North and South Vietnam for over 20 years.
5:00 PM – Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River Tour:
Hear stories about the 17th parallel, the temporary demarcation line between North and South. Take photos at the historical site, which features key points of interest such as the 17th parallel, the exhibition hall, speakers, and more.
6:00 PM – Stop at La Vang Sanctuary.
Take photos at La Vang Sanctuary before returning to:
