Ta Xua is known as the "Cloud Hunting Paradise" of the Northern mountainous region of Vietnam, a favorite destination for mountain climbing enthusiasts, conquering mountain peaks and immersing themselves in the floating sea of clouds.

This place is considered the homeland of the Mong people, they still preserve traditional culture: rammed earth houses, brocade costumes, typical cuisine such as black chicken, corn wine, men men...

Ta Xua has an altitude of about 2,865m, with rugged mountainous terrain, primeval forests, cool climate all year round, clouds covering the valleys and mountain ranges, creating a scene like a fairyland.

The Son La Ultra Trail Trail Race held in Ta Xua “in the middle of the ocean of colorful clouds” is not only a physical challenge but also an opportunity to explore the wild, majestic beauty of Ta Xua, of the Dinosaur's Back, of the slopes, the rolling hills, filled with cloud paradise.

Note: 100km & 55km runners must provide mandatory items before receiving their Bib. If they do not have enough, they will not be able to receive their Bib. The organizers will check any athlete's equipment during the race and randomly check the athlete's equipment when they reach the finish line. In case of missing one of the required items, the Organizing Committee will ask the athlete to stop competing immediately at the time of inspection.

Program activities

Participants

10KM distance : For participants 14 years of age and older. Participants must sign a liability waiver before the race day and ensure good health during the tournament.
Distance 25KM, 55KM, 100KM : For participants 18 years of age and older. Participants must sign a liability waiver before the competition day and ensure good health during the tournament.

Information change policy

Registrations for programs donated to sponsors and charities will not be allowed to change information, or/and change race distance, or refund in any form.
Change fee : 300,000 VND for transfer requests or distance increase. Requests to change information related to changes in competitor information (only applicable to changes in competitor information of the same distance), athlete name, shirt size, email address, date of birth, medical information,...
Deadline for changing information on the iRace portal : 23:59 on November 5, 2025. Requests after this time will not be processed.
To change the race distance, the athlete must pay the difference between the two distances (if any). The athlete must complete the change fee and the corresponding distance difference fee according to his/her needs.
