Overview and Significance

“Hue – Back to class after the storm” is a journey of love, bringing warmth and faith to students in flood-affected areas. Each gift, each handshake is a word of encouragement, helping the children to firmly overcome difficulties and continue their dream of going to school after days of storms and floods.

🎯 Program objectives
• Support students and people in flooded areas to overcome difficulties after the storm.
• Donate books, raincoats, necessities, and school supplies to help children stabilize their studies soon.
• Spread the spirit of "helping each other" and social responsibility in the tourism community.
• Connecting tourists, volunteers and locals in a meaningful sharing journey.

What's included

• Tourist car pick up and drop off according to the program
• Volunteer tour guide
• Drinking water

❌Not included:

• Lunch and personal expenses
• Gifts, books, raincoats, necessities (donations are optional)

Program activities

🗓️ Expected schedule

🕚 06:30 – Depart from Da Nang to Hue.

🕚 09:30 – Arrive at the flooded school:

🎎 Interact with teachers and students.
🎁 Organize the activity "Go to school with me" - give gifts, books, raincoats, necessities.

🕚 12:00 – Lunch at your own expense at a local home or restaurant.

🕚 14:00 – Visiting households with heavy damage, sharing and taking souvenir photos.

🕚 17:30 – Return to Da Nang, end of trip.

Additional info

✅ Wear neat, easy-to-move clothes, non-slip shoes; should bring a thin raincoat, hat and spare mask.
✅ Maintain a humble, cheerful, and respectful attitude toward the local community; fully support gift-giving, cleaning, and student interaction activities.
✅ The area after the flood may still be wet or slippery, so move carefully and follow the instructions of the tour leader.
✅ Encourage the group to prepare small gifts (books, raincoats, necessities, candies, cakes...) to give to the students.
✅ Do not litter, keep schools and residential areas clean.
✅ Take photos and record videos in moderation, respect the privacy and feelings of people, especially children.
✅ The program can adjust time and location depending on the actual weather conditions in Hue.
