The Bac Lieu Bird Sanctuary, located in Nha Mat Ward, Bac Lieu City, has long been an attractive eco-tourism destination for both locals and visitors. It hosts many rare birds listed in Vietnam's and the world's Red Data Books, creating a rich ecosystem with 150 animal species and 109 plant species. Characteristic plants like date palms, mangroves, and others play a crucial role in providing habitats for the birds, where they build nests and reproduce.

Entering the sanctuary, you will be greeted by the vibrant colors of golden shower trees and other flowers like fragrant orchids and royal poinciana lining the path. Visitors can choose to walk, take an electric vehicle, or paddle a small boat to explore the beauty of the forest.
