In Alanya, it is customary for families to visit the river below the Dim Dam to paddle in its calm stretches, fish and have barbecues on the riverbank.
And to serve the tourists who come here for a picnic, dozens of large and small restaurants, some restaurants also have shady terraces on small wooden piers or even on floats floating on the water.
Some restaurants have pools, slides, and river diving boards, and others will provide you with a fishing rod for trout. The salads that come with fresh fish prepared in your choice of grilled and pan-fried provide a visual feast alongside their delicacies. Swimming in the Dim is possible, but even if you're in the heat of August, you should definitely test the water's coldness before diving in.

During your visit to Dim River, take time to visit the largest cave system in the Alanya region, created by water over millions of years but discovered only in 1999. Dim Cave is 360 meters long and worth its many concreting works. One thing to remember is that there are many stairs and narrow passageways, so not everyone can reach Dim Cave.
