Sihlcity Shopping Center

Sihcity is a shopping center of Zürich, built on the site of an old paper mill near the Sihl River in the Wiedikon district. The 65-meter-high brick chimney and three other buildings have been successfully combined, repaired and renewed to incorporate the city into a modern shopping and entertainment center, opening in March. 2007.

Sihlcity welcomes locals and visitors with a shopping mall, several cinemas located within the Arena Cinemas Sihlcity, a fitness and wellness center, various restaurants and bars, and venues. hosts Papiersaal concerts and performances. In addition to clothing and fashion brands, Sihlcity also offers other services such as barbershops, laundries, libraries, children's services, optometrists, electronics and homewares, and counters information & foreign currency trading.

Younger clients can enjoy a wide range of services at the Minicty childcare facility. It features a cuddly toy zoo, a reading bus with a large selection of books, a cinema with kids movies with popcorn, and a large arts & crafts corner.

During the Christmas season, Sihlcity is transformed into a magical setting with chalets serving traditional cheese fondue, mulled wine bars and Christmas market huts.
