“A cocktail bar hidden in the basement, with great bartenders and cozy friendly decor”

The Hongdae district, like university districts around the world, tends to cater to a more budget-conscious student population and heavy drinkers. However, tucked away in the basement beneath a Vans store, Robin's Square bar offers a different atmosphere from its plain, unremarkable sign. The dim lighting with cozy booths, casually dressed bartenders and the impressive array of handcrafted wines that decorate the shelves of Robin'd Square is one thing that makes this place stand out from the dozens of birth bars. Another popular member in Hongdae area.

Step inside Robin's Square and you'll find handcrafted bottles from around the world lined up at the tall wooden counter behind the bar; even strong drinks such as whiskey are presented seamlessly, with marble, cracked ice, a variety of garnishes and brews; The cocktails at Robin's Square strike a sweet spot between creativity and ease of drinking. One of them is Porma Dulce - using Gray Goose L'Orange and cream mascarpone cheese; or other elaborate dishes garnished with delicacies like smoked salmon and black olives, or the humble old school Cobbler reinvented with brandy and fresh fruit. Visitors to the bar often order favorite cocktails such as Porma Dolce, Grapefruit Mojito, Honey Hemingway, Strawberry Mojito and Old Fashioned.

In addition to meticulously crafted drinks, owner Robin is also one of the big names in Korea's smoked village and, although the interior of the place shows the veteran being beginning to age, this is a great place to gather with friends on a winter night and relax from lovely honed creations and menus. Visitors to Robin's Square can even pick up an old fashioned glass that's been reformed by Robin. Robin's Smoky Old-Fashioned comes with an Asian-style polished stone, along with a smoky glass vase. In addition, the owner Robin also has witty puns to accompany the deliciousness of drinks such as Bread Peat (Brad Pitt) – a delicious toast garnish and accentuated with smoke.
