POP Montreal is a music festival where emerging and established artistic talents from around the world perform. The festival was originally made as an event between people playing music together in 2002, later, thanks to the collective push, has created a meaningful cultural festival as it is today. POP Montreal has entered its 18th year as a forever echo in the international symphony. Each year, POP Montreal lasts for one day, usually in late September, and presents more than 400 artists/bands to over 60,000 audiences.

The Montreal POP Festival is home to a variety of art/events including concerts, seminars, art/visual art exhibitions, fashion shows, film screenings, and more. Besides, this is also a place to introduce the public to the next generation of musical and artistic talents. A proud thing that the organizers of POP Montreal have done is that people with reduced mobility can still participate in the festival thanks to the mechanical ramps. The issue of racism, sexism or threatening and violent acts during the POP Montreal festival is also committed to being dealt with quickly and appropriately. POP Montreal is also pleased to announce that there will be no plastic bottles or straws at the festival venues, only compostable products will be allowed.
