Since its opening in August 2018, Palsta restaurant has immediately been listed among the best casual eateries in Berlin. This promising behind-the-scenes team includes Filip Sondergaard, the former Danish chef of the famous restaurant Dóttir & Viivi, and Haussila-Seppo, the owner and a friendly person from Finland.
Guests who walk through Palsta's wooden doors are greeted with a wine rack against a gray stone wall, light wood floors and small oak tables placed between the two rooms that extend into the open kitchen area, where guests will saw Chef Sondergaard. Leveraging his deep understanding of Nordic flavors, Sondergaard's signature dish is Atlantic shrimp tartare on water rye bread with black pepper mayo, a dish that quickly spread throughout the articles.
