With his filial piety, Tran Tu Nhac built the clan church to serve as a place of worship and filial piety for his ancestors before he was sent to China as an envoy in 1802.

The church was built in the style of garden house with an area of 1,500 square meters, creating a separate, peaceful and quiet space in the heart of the old town. The worship space is the largest in the main house, this place is decorated solemnly, used to worship the ancestor of the Tran clan, the head of the family. This compartment has 3 doors, including 1 main door for the elderly and high-ranking people, 2 side doors on both sides for men on the left side, women on the right side according to the concept of "male left female". property" and is only open on holidays and Tet. When entering the main hall, visitors will have to bow to avoid the doorway blocking the way, this is a clever reminder that everyone must bow their heads to show respect to their superiors.

Inside the main altar, there is also an altar of the ancestors of the Tran family with many wooden boxes placed above. In the past, when grandparents died, there were no cameras, so the family had to worship in these wooden boxes. Each wooden box represents a deceased person, inside only their name and history, along with some important personal relics, but no ashes. Besides, this place also has a separate altar for Tran Tu Nhac - who was instrumental in building the house.

Walking here, visitors will feel the unique architecture of the church through the trusses are all made of wood, delicately carved and the tall pillars carved with dragons create a solid and majestic appearance. strictly.

The family's antique display space, there are rare and precious artifacts carefully preserved in a glass cabinet located right behind the altar.

Stepping through the back of the house is a small garden with a high mound, where a hundred-year-old star fruit tree is the place to "bury and cut the navel" of the family.

Every year, on some special occasions, the children of the Tran family often gather here. They offer incense to the altar to show gratitude to their ancestors. This is also an opportunity to create a bond between members of the clan, reminding the next generation not to forget their roots.

The church of the Tran clan is seen as an eloquent testimony to a golden age of Hoi's history and is a famous tourist attraction of Hoi An.
