Magic Fountain Show

The Magic Fountain is a 'must-see' attraction of Barcelona. You will never see a fountain like this. Experience the beautiful combination of water, light and music that gives us a magical feeling. This fountain was built in 1929 as one of the main attractions of the 1929 Barcelona World's Fair. And today this fountain remains one of the most famous places in Barcelona with approx. 2.5 million tourists visit each year. In winter, the fountain only has a water show with light on Friday and Saturday nights. In the summer, a music and light show is held from Thursday evening to Sunday. Admission is free for the whole year.

Opening hours and ticket prices:

- Summer daytime: weekdays from 11am to 1pm and 4pm to 6pm; except Sunday from 11am to 3pm and if Monday is a holiday from 11am to 3pm.

- Summer night: June, July and August open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30; closed Monday and Tuesday.

- Autumn night: September and October open Friday and Saturday from 9pm to 10:30pm, closed Sunday to Thursday.

- Winter night: November to March closed Sunday to Thursday, open Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 9pm.

- Nightly for spring shopping: April and May open Friday and Saturday from 9pm to 10:30pm; Closed Sunday to Thursday.
