Seegrube restaurant is the highest relaxation area in Innsbruck, located 1,900m above sea level at Nordkettenbahn's Seegrube station. This is a mountain restaurant that can be reached within 20 minutes from the city center (departing from Parliament building) without walking. The restaurant is also perfect for sight-seeing people with a cozy atmosphere.

Seegrube restaurant is surrounded by a rugged mountain landscape and serves dishes with a modern style to suit all tastes. Visitors can enjoy the sun for hours as the clouds are often below Seegrube. In addition to hot and cold dishes, the restaurant also offers dinner specials combined with reduced fares for the Nordkettenbahn cable cars.

Note: Nordkettenbahn cable cars transport visitors on Fridays at reduced rates after 6pm from Hungerburg station to Seegrube station, and the last bus back to the city leaves at 23:30.
